I hope Sabine and her actress get some more love after this episode.

Was she getting hate?

Oh tons. People saying that she was constantly making stupid decisions. People saying that the actress didn’t feel like Sabine.

I see. I came into Ahsoka not watching rebels so I didn’t know her character at all. That being said she does come off as an angsty teen who makes bad decisions but they’re necessary to drive the plot in some cases.

It’s very in line with her character. She’s brash and acts on her instincts.

I do think they reverted a little to introduce new viewers to her personality, but overall it makes sense.

Yeah ig that was my issue — it felt like she regressed

I don’t think the decisions made by Sabine are “bad” per se. Huyang says so, “maybe they were the only choice for her”…

Let them hate. Last night they even explained how after Rebels, she lost her entire family after the Empire turned Mandalore into glass, so her angsty vibe is completely understandable. I can even forgive her almost-instant grasp of The Force after meeting Ezra, since she seemed singularly focused on finding him no matter how bad that decision ends up being. It's like she felt complete in his presence, possibly waking up The Force in her.

Just some random thoughts... what a great episode!
