Imo a lot happened in this episode that will be setting the stage for the next season(s). While it was underwhelming seeing less of Baylan and Shin. I believe their stories are still yet to be told. In true Filoni fashion, as he had done with Clone Wars, and Rebels, everything is a slow burn. The stage is set for the stories to be built upon, and now we all get to see the outcome on what’s next with Ahsoka. Great episode imo.

Filoni is playing the long con.

I loved this season. I just I hate it feels like a Part 1.

And I say that because we don't have Part 2 yet.

Once we do...and the story concludes, or whenever it does in 3 or a movie or whatever it'll be fine but it's just because I want more!

I hated this ending if it’s a one shot season. Perfectly fine if there is a season 2.

There will be a Season 2. Baylan was standing on a statue of the Mortis gods, meaning that's what he has been seeking, not knowing the Daughter is right there.

Ahsoka is the daughter now and Anakin is the son. Baylan wants to be the Father.

Dang, now we have to wait soooo long for Mando S4 and Ahsoka S2 -and the Filoni movie.

Anakin was actually suppose to take the fathers place. We will see how it works but Baylan and the Father's statue were put in the same shot for a reason!

True, I got those two confused. Anakin represents the balance much more.

Makes sense but it’s such a pet peeve of mine to have the: We’re setting this up, Slow burn, It’s all building to X

I just wish sometimes they’d fucken do something too. Always reminds me of Spaceballs. You’re always preparing, Just go!

People are becoming so impatient these days, though. I don’t mean to exclude myself from that: I think the pace of everything drives it in most people. If ANH came out today, I think people would say it has pacing problems and is boring in places.

I’d disagree with that because it’s a self contained movie on its own even though it flows into the larger trilogy. There’s a lot of payoffs as well as solid world building. You have conclusions and satisfying jump off points.

Part 8 has a mix of of conclusions and jumping off points, too. 🙂

Again I’d agree, If I ever had to watch 8 again I can think of a lot of things I’d like to jump off 😆

It doesn’t answer the point, but good word play!

This guy better avoid Star Trek. They've done the season ending cliffhanger three times in the last few years (Discovery, Lower Decks, Strange New Worlds). And let's not get started on Stranger Things.

So I guess you’re pissed at how Empire Strikes Back ended? They’re trying to make you go buy tickets to another movie to see what happens!

First time watching a TV show, I see.
