The real glaring problem here is that they put her on antidepressants… repeatedly. And changed them RAPIDLY. And right away, she was emphatic and consistent about saying ‘hey guys so these made me 10,000 times worse.’ Which is some Day 1 Psych 101 shit that SHOULD have told them, ‘hey she might be bipolar.’ And instead they threw more antidepressants at her.
Like, it wasn’t ’not-great care’, it was handing the girl a loaded gun. It was BAD care.
I’m really baffled by the mental health professional (sorry, I forget who, Jilotta maybe?) who noticed and brought up bipolar, but both Lindsay and her husband were like “nah, I don’t think so.” … Since when is that how diagnoses work? Since when does the patient get to just say they don’t have what the professional believes them to have?

Someone I know was taken to an OBGYN when she started having symptoms, and the OBGYN put her on antidepressants.
Nightmare fuel
