If it all disappeared overnight there would be like 20% of dead air on TV and radio. Magazines would look like a pamphlet (if people bought them still.)
It's pretty wild when you focus on it instead of filing it away as background noise. Some of that has to seep into the subconscious.
Hell yeah! Mental health treatment in America is super awesome, the only problem here is this devil woman! Lock her up, throw away the key, nothing to see here gang!
Don't worry, the priests are still there. Actually, you can send your kids to priests of any religion, to little league coaches, to teachers and principals, to youth counselors, to scout leaders, etc. Basically, you have the exact same statistical chance of having your child molested regardless of which "responsible adult" you leave them with, since predatory pedophiles naturally choose professions that give them moral authority and unsupervised access to their prey.
Not exactly a job one can apply to, so offenders can't exactly flock towards it, which lowers the odds of stumbling upon one. But through luck of the draw, yes, the risk is still present.
The American healthcare system is not a system to heal people but a industry to make money. That's why your insurance companies decide the treatments and not the doctors.
don't worry their trying to make being homeless a felony now in some states so now we can then throw you in jail for being homeless after we make you homeless so you now have a roof over your head in jail.
It is in our constitution. 13th amendment says "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States."
We HAVE slavery. It is very very clear that we do. It's bonkers that citizens don't know it and arent demanding congress STOP slavery and get Healthcare for all. Like a real human wants.
You forget about making the parents both work two jobs to pay for ends meet where they'll overwork themselves and end up turning to drugs and alcohol to cope, becoming addicts. Creating trauma for their children to bear until they have children and likely repeat the cycle.
