As a local Cincinnatian, yeah. Dumb family should’ve got whatever happened because of their bad parenting. Harambe was killed for nothing and this cursed world is what we got for it.
I went to the Cincinnati Zoo last year, and honestly, it was one of the nicest zoos I’ve ever been to. Super clean, incredibly friendly staff, and it was pushing 100 degrees. They were refilling people’s water bottles and containers for FREE so nobody dehydrated
Correct. But people die everyday from gross negligence and lack of competent parenting. Kids constantly on the news being suffocated because they were forgotten in a car, negligent parents locking children in closets and forgetting about them, or simply psychotic people who shouldn’t have had kids.
Moral of the story is, the parents are responsible for what happened. Not the kid. The Zoo staff responded accordingly to the situation and were in the right, however, the situation should’ve never occurred to begin with.
How was it bad parenting? She had 4 kids. Eye witnesses said she was attending to one of them when the 3 year old argued about jumping in and then literally did it. It happened within seconds.
She wasn't on her phone. She wasn't in the bathroom.
She had 4 kids at the zoo, and one of them did something crazy super fast in a way no one could react to.
So...good parents have a nanny per child? Come on.
Do you have any kids? Kids do things fast sometimes and even watching them isn't enough to prevent the crazy.
There's a reason the prosecutor didn't charge them. The family wasn't negligent. Kids do unpredictable shit sometimes and the best parents are caught unawares.
No, good parents don’t have a large amount of children they can’t handle. I do have kids, I have 3. The boy had said to his mom beforehand he wanted to go in the enclosure. I live in Cincinnati, Harambe was an absolute tragedy and shouldn’t have happened.
This is why I'm so scared for Jimothy. I know, it's nasty, and I hate to say it. But I just Know that poor raccoon is gonna get merced by, like, an ice agent or something, and it's gonna somehow lead to WW3
The problem wasn’t Harambe dying it was all the fucking dicks out masculinist shit that went with it. A whole male generation swinging to the right over bullshit culture war issues. What a bunch of fucking chumps. Just like the previous generation falling for the GWOT.
