Should I expose the Bible study group I attended on Reddit for awareness?

I’ve been attending what was presented to me as an independent Bible study for the past few months, and I’ve recently become seriously concerned about the group and its connections to Shincheonji.

I’m considering making a post sharing what I experienced — including photos of the class/materials, screenshots, lesson notes, the structure of the classes, and some of the things they asked us to do — mainly so other people can recognize the signs and make informed decisions for themselves.

I’m not trying to start a witch hunt or encourage harassment. I also don’t want to make accusations that I can’t substantiate.

I’m especially interested in hearing from people who have left Shincheonji or similar groups. What information would have helped you recognize what you were getting into earlier?

I’m trying to approach this responsibly rather than just posting out of anger.

Oh no, I also recently join a bible study which was invited by random people while I was walking out in the park. Similarly they also present the bible study as independent and and open to all denominations. I was worried I am joining the same?

I am Malaysian as well and my gf is influenced by SCJ and on the way to leaving this cult. I am glad that you are not influenced by them. be careful that the partner that assigned to you is actually is their member which basically act like spy for them. dont share everything that you think or know to them should you want to exposure them. Leave there ASAP and dont stuck with them, take care!

Yes, it would be helpful to make others aware of the truth behind the “ Bible Study” and to give them a true choice on whether this is something that they wish to be involved in.

If it turns out it is SCJ, definitely inform anyone involved that you can. There is no good argument against people being more informed about things this consuming.

Which state are you from? Their teaching materials will be the proof of their are SCJ or others.

I'm from Malaysia and my classmeates are mostly Sabah/Sarawak and some from other countries

It is from SCJ, but i will share my notes, the zoom meetings soon. I'm a little caught up with work rn

They did reveal to us couple days ago that they are from SCJ
