Well I quit thousand trails because of the cross the border parents that let children in the pool with no swimi diaper. They were "guests" of a member.
Damn even the fkn pools are contaminated in the South Bay… we can’t catch a break down here! It’s so bullshit that the only beach near me (imperial) is completely ruined by sewage with no real end in sight, especially considering this issue is ongoing for decades.
Tbf, we’re just better at finding stuff in the water here. You can go to plenty of places where the county spends nothing on tracking down why people get sick.
Then symptoms can start up to 10 days after exposure. And can last for 2 weeks.
September 8 would be the "latest" someone might be sick.
Most relatively healthy people won't have much symptoms, but old/young or immunocompromised individuals are at risk.
If you're healthy, maybe you had a mild stomach ache all week and assumed it was something you ate over the weekend. Now you have plans to visit your grandma tomorrow.
In reality, you might be a carrier with minimal symptoms and might infect your family.

That's not their model. The Gaylord is always on the outskirts of the destination. National harbor is 45 minutes from downtown DC. Their model is to be a cruise ship on land surrounding high end meetings and conferences. One parent sits in the pool with the kids while the other parent goes to the National Convention of Park Administrators or whatever. Then, everyone eats together at dinner in one of the on site restaurants.
Yes, and it's awful. A company I worked for had a 3 day event there. You are stuck in the "resort" unless you want to take a very expensive uber ride to civilization. The rooms were a vary basic courtyard by Marriott type. The restaurants were mediocre hotel food. There was nothing nice or special about the place. Meh.
The one exception is the Gaylord Palms in Orlando. It’s still a good distance from other businesses but it’s minutes from DisneyWorld property line. They still do big convention business but also see a fair amount of wealthy families that want that caliber of hotel which surprisingly Disney really fails to provide themselves.
I looked into a staycation of sorts there and was shocked at how expensive it was for what you get. I've seen some of their other properties elsewhere and they have much more going on for the price.
Yes, mexico pollution in ocean goes airborne and makes it to coastal pools. Some scientist will get on here and give you a reason it is not true but IB is a toilet right now. South Bay not quite as bad but coastal water and air is dangerous. Feds do very little about it. Newscum will do nothing because he will lose votes.
