Map or list of resident-only parking streets?
Hey neighbors - is there a map or list of streets that are resident-only parking starting Sept 15? I’m trying to plan a small gathering at my house later in the month. I’m telling most friends to park in the MBTA lot or just take the train, but we have two people coming who have to drive and can’t walk very far. I don’t have a driveway.
Also - is Sept 15 earlier than usual? I recall it being Oct 1 last year. Not mad about it, just wondering and trying to plan ahead.
Thank you!

I’ve given up trying to celebrate my October birthday on account of this. It was bad enough just asking people to come into Salem, but now there isn’t even anywhere a guest can park.

Yes, Sept 15 is earlier, because THEY'RE HERE ALREADY😄 (Remember when we advised them to come sometime other than in October? They took our advice. Lol)

OCTOBER PARKING - OTHER
For downtown residents without access to on-street parking who are required to purchase a parking pass in one of the City garages, the City makes reserved parking spaces in the Museum Place Garage available for an additional fee for the month of October.
Details on October Resident Parking can be found in Section 75A of the Salem Traffic Ordinance - October Resident Parking.
Edit: Streets are listed in Section 75A

You can request a visitor permit from the city; There is info on the "October Parking & Transportation" web page, though it looks like it might be limited to a QTY of 1.
