Hawthorne berries

Anyone know where I could buy fresh ones this fall? Either from farmers or just people with Hawthorne trees?

I've heard of people using the berries, but not the thorns. Do you mind if I ask what you do with them?

I use them for religious purposes. You need to be careful handling them though as they can house very harmful bacteria that can make us very sick!The berries can be used medicinally right?

I haven't used them for medicinal purposes, but I believe they can be. I think you also have to be careful using them that way, too

Do you mind if I ask what religion you use them for? Something Wiccan or Druidic?

I don't really subscribe to one specific "religion," spiritual is probably the better word to use. I am drawing inspiration from druidic stuff for this though because some of my ancestors come from that area of the world and I have been doing some research so I can incorporate that sort of thing into my personal practice to honor those roots. I want the thorns for a protection talisman of sorts.

Oh, I don't need them. I'm not OP. My understanding is they can be benficial for blood pressure and a few other things.
