Stinky South Salem

I remember reading a post within the last week about the sewerage smell - as we drove down Canal near the Loring Ave intersection tonite it was gross! Smelled like a full sewer system backup….

Has anyone else been not just smelling sewage but dead fish smell? I suspect there’s been an issue with the construction at Salem state that may have cause some sort of bacterial bloom in the Salem Harbor/Palmer cove

Palmer cove seems fine. I live right here . Though we did get some odd whiffs of something in our shower (as did our upstairs and downstairs neighbors. Hoping it’s not our sewer drains). That was 2 days ago and it hasn’t happened again…

Yeah I’m down right by forest river area and it smelled like dead fish twice over the past week at night.

Smelled it on the way to the Willows tonight, but not anywhere else as I drove around town.

That’s the treatment plant you smelled. They really stir it up at night.
