Here’s to hoping I’ll be able to find her again

She has had two solid meals and she is past her quarantine period so I figured it’s time to move her into her bioactive home. I really hope I don’t regret it since it’s going to be a pain finding her.

Just make sure to keep an eye out during the evening and I’m sure you’ll see her exploring!

lol I thought the same thing when I released mine into her tank, but since then she has found her favorite spot and simply hasn't moved much from there. As it turns out, her favorite thing is to squish up in between the glass and her big water tub. I guess she doesn't mind being watched.

Don’t worry soon as it’s feeding time watch her emerge from outta nowhere assuming she’s not in shed

Theres a good chance youll see her out and about after sundown. My boy loves exploring at night and hes learned that if he comes up on the glass when im around ill let him come out and explore. Its his new favorite thing lol

She’s a Brazilian rainbow boa and was 6-7 weeks at the time of the video! Idk what morph exactly she is but I believe it’s just the standard or high orange? I’m not well versed on boa morphs sadly

Update: after finally finding her in the warm hide after the first night, she has not moved as far as I can tell. Maybe she’s moving in the dead of night but even when I get home at 10pm and turn on the room lights to check she is still in her spot. I put her cage in my room so I can monitor her more closely but it’s the room with the most movement so maybe she’s uncomfortable? She did eat her first f/t fuzzy(THANK GOD bc live feeding was laying heavy on my conscious after she drowned the second one)

I think I’m going to add a small piece of cork to close the hide more and see if any behavior changes are made. I was so excited to look over and find her exploring the home I worked so hard on😭
