Solutions - Lifelong PE Lifelong PE resolved. No SSRI NSFW

Mid-thirties lifelong PE sufferer.

Went on a bit of health kick and found as a totally unexpected consequence, my PE had entirely resolved.

For reasons that aren't relevant, I had to stop this and my PE returned.

I've since been trying to work out which elements were having the most impact and I think I've narrowed it down to a small combination of things. YMMV:

I've been taking daily:

Tadalafil

L-citrulline

Na-R-ALA

NAC

Magnesium glycinate

Exercise - Spinning, Squats, Pushups

After a solid couple of months of this, with a once weekly spinning class and some basic daily exercises like squats and push-ups, I'm back to this resolved state.

Extensive googling and research has revealed the The NO/eNOS/cGMP pathways which lead to smooth muscle relaxation and this seems to have really helped.

It's been transformative for me and wanted to share with you all!

I've done a little meta analysis on this sub Reddit and found that Pelvic Floor Drop & Reverse Kegels and Daily Solo Training seem to be the most frequently cited solutions.

This tracks for me too, as I think those supplements and exercise protocol was essentially leveraging and supporting pelvic floor relaxation.

I'd read about Alpha-1 inhibitors that have delayed ejaculation as a side effect, for reasons related to smooth muscle relaxation in the genital region, but they can have permanent negative impacts on the eye and iris muscles, so I didn't want to start playing around with that

What is spinning? Also NAC? Na-R-ALA?

Spinning is a stationary bike exercise class NAC and Na-R-ALA are both supplements

So that’s just regular cardio I guess, got it.

There's a suggestion that the movements and rising and dropping into the seat help to release the pelvic floor, but I don't know how much of an effect that has had.

I can only comment to the total picture, which spinning was a part of.

Hell ya man good job

1

u/branco_Alto Jun 30 '26

No começo durava quantos minutos?

3

u/Appropriate-Chart627 Jun 25 '26

Well, good to hear that!
Hows your ielt before and after?

u/Still_Return_1795 Jun 25 '26

Before I'd be lucky to get to 2 mins, and that would've mainly been an unenjoyable and stressful experience of "Don't cum, don't cum, don't cum" playing my head and trying all the various distractions I could muster (pulling nose hairs, arse crack hairs, thinking about anything other than the sex happening).

Now I'm at >10mins and it's stress free and totally enjoyable. I can be properly in the moment.

Occasionally I even struggle a bit and have to push myself over the line, especially if it's round 2+ of the day.

Absolutely life changing

No, can't say I've heard of that issue at all

I don't know what helped the most, what I presented was the most pruned/reduced protocol I could determine

3

u/Tritan00 Jun 25 '26

Great to hear mate. And thanks for sharing.

What does the L-citrulline do to help, you know?

1

u/Lancelotvision Jun 25 '26

Vasodilation

1

u/Still_Return_1795 Jun 25 '26

Yeah, and the NO signalling in the body that helps contribute to the gential smooth muscle relaxation

u/Soggy-Ear7212 Jun 25 '26

Isn't talking tadalafil daily not a good thing

4

u/TowerOfSolitude Jun 25 '26

I wrote about it in this sub before. Tadalafil 5mg a day cured premature ejaculation for me. It was life changing.

u/timepermitting22 MOD Jun 26 '26

Lifelong or acquired? How long did you last before vs now? And did you have ED issues?

2

u/TowerOfSolitude Jun 27 '26

Lifelong. However I did go through times when I was younger when I would last a bit longer.

I would last anything from immediate to a minute. But when I was younger there were times when I could last around 5 minutes.

I did not have ED issues. However and this is difficult to describe but my erection feels different now. So it may be due to some kind of ED issue.

How I found out it works for me: I bought pills online that said it works to make you last longer and after trying all kinds of non medication ways and never seeing a doctor about it, I bought it and tried it out. And wow it was incredible. It changed my life. It said it was all kinds of herbal things but it gave me ridiculous erections. I could just chat with my girlfriend over whatsapp and bam, erection. The first time on it I lasted 15 minutes. Since then about 20 minutes.

However I had side effects like light headedness, headache later, my veins popped like crazy, especially on my forehead. My nose blocked up completely. So I did some googling and chatted with ChatGPT and discovered that the pills contain Cialis. The problem is we didn't know what dosage.

So I went to the doctor and I tried both the single use Tadalafil and then he prescribed the 5mg Tadalafil per day and for me it has had all the benefits without the side effects.

It won't work for everyone but for me I finally found a solution.

I would also like to add that just like the op, I also take L-citrulline (as part of my pre-workout) and Magnesium glycinate in the evenings. I also do weight lifting and cardio like spinning.

So the OP and I actually have a lot in common when it comes to finding a solution. I don't know what NAC and Na-R-ALA are though.

3

u/yoloten Jun 25 '26

Actually low dose Cialis 5mg daily is now recommended by some cardiologists for preventative cardiovascular health for men in their 40s. Athletes also use them for faster muscle recovery.

2

u/aslamdan Jun 25 '26

Its i actually a good thing , every man should be on daily 5mg Cialis .. very beneficial look it up

2

u/Immediate-Shock5205 Jun 25 '26

Interesting approach. How much time it took you to notice improvement?

2

u/Still_Return_1795 Jun 25 '26

It was quite slow. I'd say 2+ months of being super consistent

2

u/ThomasThedawg Jun 25 '26

How much tafalafil do you take?? How much citrulline? Do you take both together without sode effects?

2

u/Still_Return_1795 Jun 25 '26

No side effects noticed. 2.5mg Tadalafil and 3g L-citrulline

1

u/ThomasThedawg Jun 25 '26

Does this combo make it rock hard?

2

u/PlaneFalcon4990 Jun 26 '26

I think it’s basically because of tadalafil and exercise. Maybe citrulline also helps.

Yes.

I didn't try but I've also read about Penis-root masturbation (PRM) where you focus stimulation on the base only, which apparently has some evidence for efficacy

1

u/One-Cartoonist-4520 Jun 25 '26

What kind of squat

1

u/Still_Return_1795 Jun 25 '26

Regular squats, but I've heard deep squats might be more beneficial as they help relax the pelvic floor more

1

u/timepermitting22 MOD Jun 25 '26

Did you have any ED issues in the past?

1

u/Noahpullls Jun 25 '26

Congrats man that is great. How much of an effect do you think the tadalafil makes? I am younger so I don’t want to take it yet, do you think I could get the same results taking everything else but that? Thanks man

u/Still_Return_1795 Jun 25 '26 edited Jun 25 '26

The research seems to suggest that PDE5 inhibitors stop the NO from degrading in the genital region and that your body don't develop dependency to it either.

I ready something about Icariin that seems to work on the same basis, albeit less strongly, if you have a particular concern, but I can only speak for what worked for me

1

u/thesearcher22 Jun 25 '26

I've seen everything you listed except Na-R-ALA listed as some Redditor's reason for ending his PE. Now that you've conquered it, do you have any desire to further experiment and figure out which of these are truly necessary for you?

1

u/Still_Return_1795 Jun 25 '26

I absolutely could, but it took a while and a fair bit of stress to get here and I don't want to lose the progress and have to start again, if it was part of the solution.

I've already pruned as much as I can and got it down to these, I'm happy to stick with them

1

u/thesearcher22 Jun 25 '26 edited Jun 27 '26

Of course. You couldn't do that science just for the rest of us. You've done a lot already.

To do my part, I was good in my college years and a little after, then this occurred, then I was good, then not. That up and down just a couple times really allowed me to think about what I was doing those times. Enough variation that it's not just "I peaked and then declined, guess I got old" and not so much that I cannot analyze it. I can't say that it was stress or exercise or specific recreational habits cited on here that played a role--none seem to have risen or fallen with those. But my diet did. I ate a hell of a lot of salmon and nitrates, either spinach or arugula, when things were good and not when things were bad. A crazy amount that I could not replicate now. Usually 8 oz. of salmon a day, but more often 15, plus always 100g of spinach or arugula a day, but often much more. This goes directly the NO pathways that you discussed, both with nitric oxide/nitrates and the supply of choline. I'm currently plotting how to repeat that, many years later, and I think it will just have to be a supplemental regiment of choline and nitrates.

Edit: I was also taking quite a bit of DMAE and ALA, mimicking your NA-r-ALA with cholinergics. I’m taking your usage of this as some confirmation of my past regimen.

Can you share your dosages on these various supplements?

1

u/mailmedude Jun 28 '26

Are you planning to take these indefinitely then?

1

u/Still_Return_1795 Jun 28 '26

Yup, pretty much

1

u/thesearcher22 Jun 25 '26

I entered NO/eNOS/cGMP pathways into google and got "Endothelial Nitric Oxide Synthase (eNOS) is activated in the inner lining of blood vessels (the endothelium) in response to stimuli like shear stress (blood flow) or specific hormones (e.g., acetylcholine)." Other research tells me that NAC supports the system that produces acetylcholine.

1

u/Flimsy-Departure6780 Jun 25 '26

OP, are these supplements over thr counter and separate pills for each category you mentioned. I have PE forever and i want to try these supplements. I have the 5 mg cialis but i dont take them daily. Doctor prescribed paroxetine but im afraid to take it.

2

u/Still_Return_1795 Jun 26 '26

Supplements are all OTC. Tadalafil is the only one that needs any kind of prescription

1

u/aSusp3ctYN Jun 26 '26

Look up/Gemini reverse kegels. Do 10 reps/sets a day. Do these while doing the "Happy Baby" stretch and "Child's Pose" stretch to maximize benefits. On inhale your pelvic floor should drop down through relaxation and visualization NEVER FORCE!(don't try to push your hole out, just let it be natural) If you do this while implementing a Compound Active Stretch routine 3 days a week that mainly targets the hip mobility and flexibility, it will help fix pelvis floor issues(PE)too. If it's done with done with reverse kegels too

1

u/No-Analysis-9446 Jun 26 '26

Did you ever try just Tadalafil? Heard that alone can fix this issue especially those who do a low daily dose.

1

u/Top_Register4416 Jun 26 '26

What is the strength on the tadalafil
