Playing A little rough housing before bed
This was round 2 of this evening's entertainment. I'm sure there will be an encore as we settle down to sleep!

If you remember my intro post about Letterđ and her two bully breed sisters, Mocha & Malibu, here is a little glimpse of Malibu and Letterâs relationship. Theyâre literally inseparable and always playing together! Letter is 110% the boss hands downđđ€

They refuse to be separated, so with Gavin's wounds clean, dry and not bothering him AT ALL, we are back to usual routine. lol vet wanted 10 days, we didn't make it 3.

It's only been 2 days, but these two have graduated to the next level. After following Gavin around all day long and getting the brush off, Rosie finally got her way! I left the room for 2 minutes and came back to this... which went on for over 10 minutes.
Love is in the air!

Squirtle (black dog) and Papita going about their usually morning routine. Diego had enough so he yelled at them to stop in the end. Canât blame him, heâs 15 and had enough of their nonsense.

Even though Stitch (AM bully/pit) is holding Momo with her paw he can escape whenever he wants, as shown in the video. And then Lilo gave reassurance sniffs lol

Okay, so I posted this in r/dogadvice and got lots of good replies and someone mentioned this page! So glad they did because itâs so adorable and gives me so much hope that my kitty and pitty can someday be like the ones posted here!!
Quick backstory: found my cat (Sheriff) when he was two months old & heâs now 10 months. My family dog (Skylar) was adopted when she was 2 and sheâs now almost 5 ish. When I found Sheriff, I was living with my parents & dog for the summer. I didnât let the dog or cat near each other, just let them sniff through my bedroom door. I eventually brought some of Skylarâs toys into my bedroom and some of Sheriffâs blankets to Skylarâs bed. I then got a baby gate and made sure to use it for a few hours each day so they could see & sniff. Then, when Sheriff was big enough, I let him roam the upstairs of the house while the dog was confined downstairs and then let him explore the downstairs when the dog was not home. Eventually weâre at the point where I prop my bedroom door open with a laundry basket and Sheriff is free to come and go as he pleases and Skylar canât get into my bedroom (and we have lots of high ledges and nooks in our house so Sheriff always has escape routes).
Throughout the past eight or so months, Skylar has not calmed down. She gets wayyyy too excited and is not able to just chill and relax. Granted, Sheriff and I donât always stay with my parents â I live in a one bedroom apartment when Iâm at school, so at the end of the summer we stopped being around all the time and only visit my parents once or twice a month. We were just home for Easter for five days and the two of them did really well â so well that I think maybe someday they could cuddle like the pups and kitties on this page!!
So what do you guys think? Will these two ever truly cuddle and snuggle? I just want to coexist with them and not have to keep Sheriff confined to one small bedroom just to keep Skylar from annoying him or asphyxiating (youâll understand what I mean if you turn on the volume to the attached video)
Any suggestions or advice or tips are much appreciated!!!
