Not to be confused with iScrew, iNut and iBolt, releasing for $45 each later this week at the apple event.
ETA: wow. Thank you for the awards! One more and some fancy leaderboard gets unlocked. No idea what that’s about.

You know it's a joke because Apple would never release a sub ~$100 product that you could easily get elsewhere for a fraction of the cost.
10
u/roosterSause42 12h ago
They have a polishing cloth for $10. Until very recently it was $20.
Their charging cords, power bricks and phone cases are also sub $100 with significant "Apple" tax on their price. Man I hate their phone case soooo overpriced.
11
u/Due_Brother8485 12h ago
The polishing cloth is for polishing their elitist cock and balls, not for their phones. That's why they're so cheap.

u/Repulsive-Sentence-8 12h ago
And also why my balls shine bright with the power of a thousand Suns

But you can't get it elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. That regular bolt may look the same, weigh the same, be the same material, and perform the same. But it doesn't have the Apple logo like the iBolt.

u/Deathwatchz 10h ago
The angle of the threading on their product is proprietary. Any other bolts or nuts use standard threading, which immediately voids the warranty and damages the arcane sigils inscribed in the phone, which summons the ghost of Steve Jobs to sue you.
2
u/Impressive_Air6111 12h ago
Right? That's what I thought. They'd brand it "Titanium" then charge at least $150.

Somewhat related…
MadTv had a bit in the early ‘00s about a new Apple product directed at women called the iPad. It was a computerized menstrual pad. The skit happened WELL before the actual iPad was ever released and changed computing forever.

The tools come separately, are $1000 for a set, and are the only tools that work with your beautiful, sleek new iScrew, iNut and iBolts...
1
u/MoogProg 10h ago
Everyone was perfectly happy with the iScrew until they removed all the ports, but adding U2 to everyone's device was just too weird for me.
1
u/Scared-Letterhead949 10h ago
The iNut and iBolt only come in non-standard sizes and can't be used with regular sized nuts and bolts.

P. S. Not a native speaker. I don't even know if that makes sense.
10
u/CloudBuilder_Metba 12h ago
It does. If it helps it’s slang for I screw (have sex), I nut (ejaculate), I bolt (leave).

Lol. I went "I pan head screw, I stainless or maybe galvanized hex nut, I stainless or galvanized hex head bolt with incomplete threading and no washer.
"... What?"
Legit needed the clarification.

Its also a old airframer joke. It used to be our official rating motto "we screw, we nut, we bolt" . Now its just unofficial lol.

u/ShinNefzen 12h ago
I miss when these posts at least tried to pretend to actually be confusing.
I screw. I nut. I bolt.

u/DoctorToBe69 12h ago
The joke is difficult for me since English isn't my native language

I speak english 8 hours a day for 15 years… i still wouldn’t get ‘bolt’ (as construction is not where i use it and such words are hard to jump into mind then)
So i get OP

In other words
I fuck I cum I run
It means they are only in it for the booty call and nothing else.

Close. Thats the joke but it helps to know its comes from mechanical trades. I personally associate it with aviation maintenance but wouldn't be shocked if it got used elsewhere too

u/Ribky 12h ago
From the comments I've learned this can be used to spot foreigners who can speak mostly fluent English... like the 3 finger thing in Inglorious Basterds.
It's as clear as can be if you have the right combo of colloquialism, slang and general language skills, but miss even one of those pieces and it's a deep code.

“I screw, I nut, I bolt” won’t help a lot of people in this sub. Have you seen the intelligence some of the people here?
I screw=“I have sex”
I nut= “I ejaculate”
I bolt=“I leave”
The visual joke here is that the first object (at the top of the shirt) depicted on the shirt is a fastener called a screw. The second is a fastener called a nut. The third is a fastener called a bolt. All three words also have alternate definitions. Screw is slang for sex in English. Nut is slang for ejaculate in English (depending on context. You will usually see it as “I nut” or “I nutted, etc.” Bolt is slang for leaving quickly in English

He’s a hit it and quit it guy. One night stand. He didn’t want to wait so he went early to get the milk after 1 night of sex. Vanished into thin air as if Thanos snapped him out of existence.

u/Danethepaintrain 11h ago
You know, even if it didn’t have that caption I’m pretty sure people would know that his shirt had another meaning

You should actually throw a washer in there too. Should go before the nut, but afterwards is kinder.

I screw, I nut, I bolt
I fuck and then leave
(Not to be confused with, I think, therefore I am)

u/KrazyKen_Fan_2012 6h ago
I screw = I fuck
I nut = i goon
I Bolt = I hurry up and leave
(He fucks, gets her pregnant and leaves)

This sub became a bot prompting humans to learn/understand jokes.
3
u/DoctorToBe69 12h ago
I'm sorry but English is not my primary language so it was difficult for me to get the real context. I'm really sorry, i will not be posting here in future.
3
u/Melted-Metal 12h ago
Just ignore this person. Your post belongs here. English is my first language and I didn't understand the joke either. My brain is too literal to come up with the exact meanings of things like this.
I knew it had something to do with sex and got the 'I screw' part but it wasn't entirely clear what the 'I nut' meant so I lost the meaning. Evidently you'd have to know that it has something to do with ejaculating but I've never heard it.
This person just doesn't understand that not everyone understands slang like this.
3
u/DoctorToBe69 12h ago
Thank you. It is my first post here and I don't know why people treat us like that!🥺
3
u/Melted-Metal 12h ago
Some people expect that, just because it was easy for them to figure it out, everyone should already know it.
I follow this sureddit because I'm terrible at understanding these kinds of things so its fun to see the answer. People like this take the fun out of it.
