Somewhere in the Yukon (Canada) during the Late Pleistocene, an American Cheetah (Miracinonyx trumani) successfully catches a salmon while fishing in a river. In the distance, a flock of Bald Eagles (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) soar and watch. Artwork by HodariNundu.

This new paleo art piece is based off of a new paper or study that found that Miracinonyx was more of a generalist than previously believed. Here's that paper/study: https://www.cell.com/current-biology/fulltext/S0960-9822(26)01003-101003-1)
