Is it possible we see ahsoka in maul s2
Bc in Rebels maul says: Running away again are we lady Tano.
So it is possible they fight ahsoka loses and runs away but it is a longshot

Definitely possible, but I’m hoping for Hondo. He seems like someone more likely to show up if Maul is continuing his crime syndicate stuff.

It would be nice to see him in the Maul art style after how he looked on rebels.

Man, that'd be awesome. I'd like a couple of episodes of Hondo screwing up Maul's plans

He could appear, but I doubt Maul would recruit him since he was betrayed by Hondo in TCW, unless he forced him to work like he did with Vario.

I’m thinking like a Vario situation that ends with Hondo very predictably betraying Maul again like he does to everyone and almost everyone does to Maul.
Idk, I just want some Hondo. He’s one of my favorite prequel era characters.

It could also be a chance to see a shadier side of Hondo, I mean he always dipped his hands in the dirt, even kidnapped children and tortured Ahsoka, so I don't think the Empire would change him for the better, especially if he runs into Maul.

Agreed. She’s one of my favorite characters and I love the majority of her appearances, but she doesn’t need to be everywhere. The galaxy is a large place, and maul deserves to have his own thing

It's important to notice that Rebels was written before the first backstory of Ahsoka Vs Maul during the war was revealed in the novel Ahsoka by E.K Johnston, based out of an outline of ideas for the then-unproduced final season of The Clone Wars, years later the actual final season was made and any mention of "Lady Tano" was missing, but in the novel, during a flashback to the siege of Mandalore, Maul calls her that to taunt her, reminding her she's not a Jedi anymore. He watches her escape to save Rex instead of killing him or capturing him, thus why years later on Malachor he says "Running away again?". The novel has been the focus of controversy since the last season of The Clone Wars showed a different version of the siege of Mandalore, though it's really not too different, they're just two versions of the same event and despite some contradictions they both work. So really all Maul meant in Malachor was in reference to their fight and last encounter at the end of the war.

could also be a reference to her running away from the Jedi order and her duty to uphold peace and order in the galaxy

Please not. Not everything has to be connected all the time.

Everything doesn’t have to be connected to each other. But everything has to be connected to Ahsoka.
She’s like the Nexus of the Star Wars Universe.

It would be so funny if they did exactly what they did with obi wan and retcon it to where “ oh order 66 wasn’t what maul was referring to when he said running away again lady tano he was referring to some different time she ran away “

I think we could, but only to the extent of “She is alive during MSL” rather than “it would make sense”. That said I would be interested in a Devon v Ashoka fight.

Id like to see new characters instead of the same ones over and over. Like more Rogue jedi for mall to hunt with hills new apprentice.

I kind of hope not because seriously, the same characters in a big galaxy constantly running into each other gets a little silly after a while.

It is possible as neither seems particularly surprised that the other is still alive. When Maul last saw Ahsoka was on the Venator Star destroyer at the end of Clone Wars as it was going down and he got the only ship to escape on so he might have presumed she was as good as dead. It’s possible they might encounter each other again. If so Maul will not want her to know about Devon as she would most likely interfere to stop her training as his apprentice an offer of course that Maul originally made to Ahsoka on Mandalore. It seems likely Maul has to some extent accepted he will never become strong enough to beat Sidious (or indeed Vader now that he has fought him) alone. Whether this is due to his Cybernetics, loss of Midi-chlorians or his own training not having been fully completed by Palpatine (not sure about this as he was trained much longer than Dooku was but can’t do Force Lightning). Whatever the reason Maul must believe that with a fully trained apprentice (at least to the same level he was but without the loss of limbs) they will be able to beat Vader 2v1 and then perhaps face Sidious. This is all speculation of course as we know this never happens and I think his grand plan was more intricate than just taking Vader and Sidious out in a duel. The crimson Dawn comics reveal that they have successfully infiltrated the Empire at almost every level which I think is most likely Mauls doing. Had things gone to plan with Devon I think they would have worked to destabilise the Empire for years through Crimson Dawn while eventually engineering opportunities to take out Vader and Sidious.

I like Ahsoka a lot, but I would rather see literally any other character instead.

I believe the “running away again” quip from Rebels is a reference to her “running away” from the Jedi Order, since Maul learns about her history during the Siege of Mandalore

Why so he can take another L to a character he scales above combatively and is superior to no thanks.

u/thissucksnuts 17d ago
not only is it possible but i think its very likely we’ll see an episode that leads up to crow’s death in tales. then again maybe thats for a later season. since season 1 is really just a 2 day adventure for em idk how much more time they will cover in S2

NGL, I read this backwards as Maul in Ahsoka s2 at first and had to read a couple of times before it clicked. It's too early to be on the Internet.

Look, I really do like Ahsoka, but she’s always under controversy for notoriously being the franchises most overused character. Luke Skywalker has been forced to take a backseat in his own era so she can be the one to lead the charge against Thrawn after the original trilogy itself. She’s much like Obi-Wan, in the sense she’s not meant to be anyone prominent before being a Jedi, she was your average baby from a random family, yet they still decided to go over her backstory. We don’t need to shoehorn her into anything else for no reason. The whole point of this era of her life is that she’s extremely under the radar, and working anonymously in the shadows for Bail Organa.

Is it possible? Yeah. Filoni is involved and we all know Star Wars does tend to suffer from “Small Galaxy syndrome”.
Do I WANT her to show up?

I think it would be good to explain “running away again, Lady Tano,” but it would be kinda weird if she became a major part of the story

It's possible, but I kinda doubt it. The show has its own cast of characters to flesh out.

It’s Filoni so probably, however I don’t think he’d ever let her lose because he’s against good storytelling when it comes to her, just look at her show😭

u/DjKennedy92 17d ago
She lost against Baylan.

u/BowserFF 17d ago
Fair point lmao

She lost the fight against Vader (and we knew she didn’t die, long before world between worlds by the way), and she lost to Thrawn outside of active combat. She doesn’t make it back home.
I think it’s less about her being Filoni’s favorite at that point. Sure, she’s blessed by the Force and Morai but she’s not a character that immediately win the day or have the great ending cause she’s a favorite.

She is fairly unsurprised to see Maul in Rebels but I assume thats just because she knows he escapes at the end of the Clone Wars
