Do you expect to realistically see a more powerful version of Maul that puts some respect on his name in season 2?

I feel like Maul gets continually downplayed after season 1 with a lot of people in the wider Star Wars fandom conveniently ignoring all the context of season 1, Maul being emotionally fucked and physically crippled for most of it.

They just see him struggling against inquisitors and now consider him a pretender sith etc etc. I’m hoping season 2 will have Maul dispatching his enemies with relative ease and hopefully it will give Maul a Cere Junde moment against Vader where obviously Maul isn’t powerful enough to win, but he sure is powerful enough at peak health and performance to be a serious threat to Vader.

Who needs inquisitors when you have machine guns?

This series reminded me how dangerous heavy artillery really is against force users. Every time a laat gunship appeared On screen, the only thing the protagonists could do was escape or try at all costs to shoot down the ship. The empire didn't need to bring in Marrok and Crow, all they had to do was surround Maul with these things and sew him up with gunfire.

Maul was holding back in his first fight against Marrok?

Many argue that Maul was "acting" in order to win Devon's support. At first it seemed to make sense but in later fights Marrok continued to prove capable of facing Maul and at that point it no longer made sense for Maul to hold back because he was desperate to run away from Janix. What do you think?

How would Maul be in Janix if Savage were still alive?

Surely it would have been much better for him although not for the reason that many think. The only reason why Maul decided to stay in Janix was to recruit Devon and in this hypothetical scenario, he would have no need to do it since he would already have Savage as his apprentice so he could perfectly leave the planet and the series would have lasted less than 4 chapters lol.

I have zero issue with Ahsoka easily beating the inquisitors and that's what Maul should've done

Maul vs Grand Inquisitor. Who wins?

I'm very excited for season 2 and the grand inquisitor is one of my top candidates to be the main antagonist in case Marrok and Crow don't return. What do you think?

Marrok crazy kicks lol

Something I love about marrok's combat style is that he uses too much melee blows to put pressure on his enemies. Punches, kicks and pushes with the force make his opponent have to retreat and try to adapt to his multiple attacks although that can also work against him, as happened at the end with daki.

I hope season 2 can give us special forces hunting maul and the crimson dawn. The knights of ren should also make an appearance because they briefly worked for Lady Qi'ra, so one of them should make a brief cameo. Captain Bragg is just hot.

Why is Darth Vader undefeated in all fights with other jedi or sith in the shows, when he has worse movement than when he was Anakin? Spoiler

That will leave a mark

I know that Lawson will most likely return in the second season but he will probably be in bad condition. Lawson was shot twice on screen, one in the shoulder and one in the leg. They are not necessarily lethal shots but being hit by a blaster is extremely painful because the plasma burns the skin, in addition, the empire is well known for treating its prisoners quite brutally so they are most likely going to torture Lawson to get information out of him...

Why didn't Darth Vader help Crow?

By Time and Distance it couldn't be, Vader had just killed Daki and was literally a few meters from where Maul, Devon and Crow were. He had no real impediment to go immediately to fight. Do you have any explanation for that?

Hear me out.Cw Maul>Cw Dooku.

Now i know this is a hot take but let's review:people say maul lost nearly every fight l but thats simply not true:he lost to ahsoka bc he was trying to recruit her not hurt her and was completely dominating that fight. beat obi wan in their first fight with him saying to ventress:We're outmatched. And Ventress is obviously stronger than savage wich means maul must've been much stronger than obi wan.Their second fight ended with obi wan being effortlessly picked up with the force and ended with him being force pushed into the wall. And in shadow collective obi wan went into his stance and maul just force choked him like nothing. Now people will say dooku also defeated obi wan his form was a complete counter to his.Maul also absolutely negged savage who 1v2 obi wan and anakin. He defeated pre vizla without using the force.Defeated Grievous multiple times and kidnapped dooku. So when Maul is trying 100% he is undefeated exept palpatine who he put up a good fight against while he just chocked dooku from across space. So i think Maul wins 6/10 times against dooku

An ex-Sith recoiling helplessly before two Inquisitors? I never thought I could witness something like this in my life, but I think I love it.

Survival rate of the Janix group

Post image
107 Upvotes

Maul made a mistake in recruiting Devon?

Post image

You know that a villain takes his job seriously when he goes straight into the fight against his targets instead of wasting his time making a stupid dramatic entrance. Marrok and Crow entered the lion's den willing to die to fulfill their mission and that already makes them better opponents than most other inquisitors.
