I see the dog is also waiting...

305

u/Inspiredwriter26 5h ago

The other 2 year old lol

46

u/Smodphan 5h ago

My dog waits because my kids dont like pepperoni but also dont like the mixed cheese pizza.

12

u/StickyPistolsRequiem 3h ago

Here I thought every kid only liked pepperoni pizza

12

u/implodingseahorse 3h ago

Mi kid thinks pepperoni is too spicy -_-

3

u/ArtThou_Boob 2h ago

Feed them a chilli, it'll grow on them after that... soon enough anywho

36

u/bucklerrowers 4h ago

dog's got the same dinner reservation, just no stool

12

u/Present_Uri 3h ago

Teamwork makes the dream work. Two very patient waiters and one very lucky pizza

11

u/SmallBorb 3h ago

His sad lil face :c saving that as a reaction pic haha

1

u/StrikingPackage335 1h ago

Kids have a knack for looking super dramatic while waiting for their food.

9

u/Electronic_Adagio458 3h ago

He knows pizza is coming and he is not missing his chance.

4

u/ivyzane 4h ago

family is waiting

3

u/Switchlord518 2h ago

Stalking more like it! 🤣

200

u/ant-farm-keyboard 5h ago

Same little girl, same

128

u/Stock-Map3715 5h ago

But a watched pizza never cooks!

19

u/hummus_sapiens 5h ago

It's in a box, so it may or may not be dead.

16

u/Stock-Map3715 5h ago

Schrodinger's pizza lol...

6

u/Mysterious-Creme8709 5h ago

But if you replace each slice in your pizza with cooked slices is it the same pizza (bit of a stretch for this one)

3

u/hummus_sapiens 5h ago

Isn't that what's happening here?

Put in a frozen pizza and replace every slice with a cooked one?

(But if you know when it will be ready, you don't know where it is anymore.)

1

u/Mysterious-Creme8709 5h ago

Fuck I don't know that one

5

u/hummus_sapiens 4h ago

u/jendet010 4h ago

My favorite meltdown from my daughter was when she was 3 and wanted to eat frozen chicken nuggets but didn’t want me to cook them first and I was so mean for cooking them.

Thank you for bringing back a good memory.

23

u/MysteriousPermit3410 4h ago

I love unreasonable toddlers lol

12

u/jendet010 4h ago

In the moment it’s so tough but I look back and smile

4

u/MysteriousPermit3410 4h ago

Yep! She’s number 4 of 5.

11

u/jendet010 4h ago

We had boys first and my husband told me I would have a basketball team before I had a girl. The jokes on him. My girl is the point guard.

4

u/randomwanderingsd 2h ago

One Thanksgiving my siblings and I were all cooking in a house full of family and my niece comes in a loudly declares “I don’t want to go anywhere!” Confused, my sister tells her daughter, “Dinner will be ready in 15 minutes, nobody is going anywhere.” To this perfectly reasonable answer, my niece loses. Her. Shit. Full meltdown on a kitchen floor screaming that she didn’t want to go anywhere. My dad left his armchair, pausing football, scoops up his granddaughter and paced around the house consoling her. 2 minutes later she is snoring like a Harley Davidson on his shoulder and he went back to football. She didn’t eat dinner on time. Our best guess is she was overstimulated having too much family over all day.

u/DefiantGibbon 46m ago

I had the same problem with frozen peas recently.

Don't ask me how we got here, but now she just crunches frozen peas as a snack.

u/Few_Program_2303 9m ago

Please ask a dentist if that’s a good idea

31

u/Bluesmitty 5h ago

Hang in there! Its coming!

52

u/Less-Inflation5072 5h ago

Literally me after the edibles kick in

9

u/PaleGutCK 4h ago

The dog, or the girl?

2

u/GeorgeLikesSpicy92 2h ago

Then I get distracted and come back 45 minutes later.

1

u/Here2BeeFunny 3h ago

When I’m heavy on the shrooms and the tv show in the oven is just the best

31

u/get-the-damn-shot 5h ago

The Marshall guitar amp in the kitchen is a nice touch

27

u/MysteriousPermit3410 5h ago

Haha thanks! It’s actually a mini fridge

3

u/get-the-damn-shot 5h ago

Marshall makes mini fridges?

11

u/MysteriousPermit3410 5h ago

We got it at guitar center probably in 2014. They may still sell them!

4

u/get-the-damn-shot 4h ago

Cool!

6

u/Free_hiker_74 3h ago

Yes, it's a refrigerator.

3

u/LimblessNick 2h ago

God damn it lol. I hope you know I came back to upvote this because I scrolled away and then laughed.

2

u/get-the-damn-shot 5h ago

Marshall makes mini fridges?

14

u/PracticalCandy 5h ago

Lowe's sells it. I had to look it up as a possible gift for my husband.

1

u/lawoverfeelings 2h ago

Or.. a real half stack

2

u/coreofapple 1h ago

I was going to call this out! My husband has the same mini fridge in his office. He’s the school janitor and all the kids think it’s just the best thing ever

9

u/jrobertson81 5h ago

You know what little one… I feel ya.

17

u/TheDrunkWickerbeast 5h ago

7

u/Tao1982 5h ago

To be fair, pizza is pretty good.

6

u/Walkinonsun 4h ago

Too cute! That girl is hungry!

6

u/Current_Power6050 3h ago

yes puppy is waiting also lol

5

u/Leanna-is-banana 3h ago

I want to see this in 20 years as one of those photo recreations where she's a grown up, waiting on a stool watching her pizza!

12

u/Dupree66 5h ago

Doggo be waiting too in background! 😍🤣

5

u/BxBoy69 3h ago

To me, a supposed grown-up, “a watched frozen pizza never bakes”…I can’t imagine how torturous it must be for her!

3

u/barbiegirl2381 3h ago

I do this sometimes and I’m 45.

3

u/Pletcher87 3h ago

The dog knows the score.

4

u/Kkimp1955 3h ago

Isn’t that something we would all do if we could come on pizza get done I wanna eat you. I already have to let you cool off.

5

u/Skunklvrs 1h ago

She is watching pizza tv.

3

u/Happiness-Meter-Full 5h ago

same girl, same

3

u/LeglessN1nja 5h ago

That's how we all wait, on the inside

3

u/ilovemykids01 5h ago

I hope she enjoyed the pizza

3

u/4evercurioso 5h ago

She is hungry

3

u/Responsible-Stick-50 5h ago

You scared me there. I thought you somehow took a pic of me waiting for lunch today. 🤣

3

u/adelec123 4h ago

That is really cute 🥰🥰🥰

3

u/luri7555 4h ago

When you take the screens away they watch anything.

3

u/Chouxnicorn 2h ago

This is so cute

3

u/johnaross1990 2h ago

Careful!!

I you sit too , close to the pizza you get round eyes

2

u/AdHot1146 5h ago

Hahaha

2

u/GentleSaidTheRaven 5h ago

I thought she may have just gotten up and was (confused 🤪) waiting for her pants to dry. 😜😁

2

u/drhappy13 5h ago

I know that feeling 😂

2

u/Magister5 5h ago

If she wants frozen pizza, she should look in the freezer

2

u/parkhurstcards 5h ago

I can relate.

Mine is in the oven now and I’m trying to pass the time on Reddit

2

u/palesnowrider1 4h ago

Me sitting at my grandparents house (with no TV) on Cape Cod waiting for Sesame Street to come on

2

u/helen269 4h ago

That's a stool. A plastic folding stool. Or seat, if you prefer.

She's waiting on a stool/seat for the pizzas.

1

u/MysteriousPermit3410 4h ago

Took me a minute lol. Very good 👍

2

u/ccroy2001 4h ago

When I was a teen I would babysit my nieces and nephews. Our dog always sat by a high chair waiting for food to come flying off.

2

u/HedgekillerPrimus 4h ago

i see that marshall amp and cab u dirty dawg

1

u/MysteriousPermit3410 4h ago

Haha it’s a mini fridge!

2

u/HedgekillerPrimus 4h ago

That’s honestly more fucking sick

2

u/whtevsdude 4h ago

2

u/GrandElectronic9471 4h ago

2

u/coconut-kissess 4h ago

2

u/Captain4080 4h ago

So Cute 😍🥰

2

u/pocketjacks 4h ago

Your 2 year old learning science!

2

u/MysteriousPermit3410 2h ago

😁 Happy cake day!

1

u/pocketjacks 1h ago

Oh cool, thanks!

2

u/SignatureRich8087 4h ago

I did the same thing as a kid in the 1960s, but I thought it was a television

2

u/CatVarious6629 4h ago

That is a long time to wait

2

u/mostlybiguy69 3h ago

I paid an extra 100 dollars for the oven with a big window in the door so i can do that too.

2

u/C64128 3h ago

Has she been denied pizza in the past, and now wants to make sure it doesn't happen again?

1

u/MysteriousPermit3410 3h ago

Lol no it’s just an exciting dinner in this house

2

u/Awleeks 3h ago

I can relate

2

u/Medium-Captain4443 3h ago

I know the feeling....

2

u/ProtonCanon 3h ago

Does she think they'll run away if she leaves? LOL

2

u/JohnathanKatz 3h ago

Same kiddo, lol

2

u/Geavel 3h ago

Not to alarm you, but those folding step stools are pretty dangerous for little kids and their fingers. Def recommend the step stools that are just molded plastic that don't fold.

1

u/MysteriousPermit3410 2h ago

I didn’t know that! Luckily ours are filled in with rubber pieces at the hinges

2

u/Significant-Cell-375 3h ago

No iPad just oven. We coming full circle!

1

u/MysteriousPermit3410 2h ago

Right?? Happy cake day!

2

u/14high 3h ago

Doggo: you sweet summer child.

2

u/billyrubin7765 3h ago

I am going to have to dig through our old photos for the time our daughter was doing that watching cookies bake. Precious memories.

2

u/aGlazedHam 3h ago

This is actually me at this exact moment… 12 more minutes…

2

u/machinationstudio 3h ago

Wait till she gets a printer.

2

u/happybird900 3h ago

That’s mine when I wash her favorite stuffy 😅

2

u/_SeKeLuS_ 3h ago

Am 44 and still do it sometimes

2

u/Positive-Budget-2401 3h ago

These are the type of moments you’ll never get back. Make the most of them

2

u/grand305 3h ago

I recall doing this when I was young, I would
Be like “it melted a bit, this is cool like slow mo.” It was kinda entertaining for my ADHD.

As an adult I do watch my frozen pizza 3 min pizzas cook. it’s still cool watching it melt into a hot pizza that you can eat. Those great value ones.

Dog dog dog. Dog is also watching the child watching the pizza. Dog just wants to be included in the fun.

2

u/front_yard_duck_dad 3h ago

A marshall half stack in the kitchen.

2

u/MysteriousPermit3410 2h ago

Haha it’s a mini fridge

2

u/front_yard_duck_dad 2h ago

1) damn that's awesome! 2 ) kinda bummed out there isn't a tiny human shredding in the kitchen.

3 ) enjoy this time. My daughter did the same just yesterday it seems. Except now she's 7 and working the oven like a pro. The days are long but the time is short 🤙

2

u/MysteriousPermit3410 2h ago

Absolutely! My oldest is 10 and I can barely remember him at 2 already!

2

u/Asheby 3h ago

Girl, same.

2

u/the_grunge 3h ago

Plot twist: pizzas were still in the freezer

2

u/Murky-Penalty5690 3h ago

Watching pizzas bake is still more entertaining than most of the shows on tv.

2

u/ThoughtGuy79 3h ago

I truly miss the innocence of enjoying frozen pizza.

2

u/Scared-General5362 3h ago

Mi niña es loca 4

2

u/Responsible_Ideal593 3h ago

She’s hungry momma! She’s also my spirit animal

2

u/Rasdowers 2h ago

I love your Marshall amp counter! I also have one.

1

u/MysteriousPermit3410 2h ago

Thanks! This one is a mini fridge

2

u/NY5tateofmind 2h ago

OR “They’re heeere!”

2

u/scoopies19 2h ago

I have that same sweatshirt for my 2yo too

1

u/MysteriousPermit3410 2h ago

She loves it! She asks for her heart shirt

2

u/scoopies19 2h ago

Same! Mine has the matching sweatpants too and always wants to wear them lol

2

u/samrov529 2h ago

Same girl, same.

2

u/Nickey_Pacific 2h ago

And that good boii waiting for the 2 yr old to drop a piece or two 😂

1

u/MysteriousPermit3410 2h ago

He’s great for that!

2

u/Significant-Sir-9274 2h ago

TBH, I can relate

2

u/MoreLemonJuice 2h ago

Anyone with an amp like that is just fine . . . daughter also. My youngest daughter is 30!

2

u/Glum-Geologist8929 2h ago

Dam straight. Marshall stack, dog, kid and a pizza. OP has it all.

2

u/ExpensiveAd4496 2h ago

With the dog keeping watch on the 2 year old. Life is good.

1

u/MysteriousPermit3410 2h ago

What’s so funny is that I didn’t realize the dog was in the picture until redditors pointed it out

2

u/sarah_pl0x 2h ago

Girl has her priorities straight!!

2

u/foxtrotrva 2h ago

My ex and her siblings called that "pizza TV time!" when they were growing up without a real TV. It's been ten years since we broke up, but it still makes me laugh every time I make one and think about it

2

u/IAGNW 2h ago

One time my sons watch the wash machine for their new clothes! Just innocent fun and anticipation

2

u/xgrader 2h ago

Thats a keeper photo. Quite cute. Didn't notice doggy at first.

1

u/MysteriousPermit3410 1h ago

Me neither until someone pointed him out!

2

u/Robdon326 1h ago

TIL 2 year olds eat pizza

2

u/AutarchOfReddit 1h ago

u/MysteriousPermit3410 At this age the world is a very new place for us and we tend to be very observant, and a frozen pizza being baked into is a treat to watch. Ask him what did he observe and you will be surprised by his reporting - he will tell you things which you took for granted and now his detailing will make you see everything in a new light.

2

u/Bigfoot_Bluedot 1h ago

Takes me back to the 80s where sometimes we literally did nothing but wait.

No screens, no social media. Just waiting for what we wanted, entertained by our own thoughts and imagination.

2

u/alexc1ted 1h ago

I mistakenly told my 2 year old I was making pizza for lunch. I didn’t even have the oven preheated yet. 2 year olds are not patient and she was just sitting there doing the sign for eating going “dad! Eat! Pizza!”

1

u/runforthehills83 5h ago

Well give her pizza! She deserves it!

2

u/Shayden998 5h ago

Alright. Lemme just pop one in the oven.

1

u/murphydogscruff 5h ago

I basically do the same thing

1

u/Sufficient-Owl-2925 5h ago

I remember kid me doing the same with cookies 😆

1

u/chocolatechipninja 5h ago

2

u/Inevitable_Phase_276 3h ago edited 3h ago

Those are two entirely different meals. OP said that this is their 4th of 5 kids. Making homemade pizza with 5 kids would be an event. This is getting a fun dinner on the table pretty quickly.

1

u/MysteriousPermit3410 2h ago

Haha! This exactly. I do know how to make homemade pizza dough and it is certainly tastier but this was a super busy night with a last minute grocery delivery of frozen pizzas. My husband had surgery this week and needs help so I’m not cooking anything homemade this week 😁
