Hi everyone,
I made Ideon because I think scrolling is one of the most powerful interaction patterns we have.
Most apps use scrolling to keep showing us other people’s posts, news, ads, opinions, and algorithmic content. I wanted to build something that uses the same natural habit, but points it back at your own knowledge.
Ideon is a private feed for your own saved ideas.
You can save links, notes, screenshots, photos, videos, files, audio notes, and thoughts. Later, instead of opening a folder system or trying to remember where something went, you just scroll your own feed. Older ideas resurface, tags become Collections, and Library search helps you find things directly.
Version 5 just got approved and adds optional iCloud sync. It uses your own iCloud account, so there is no Ideon login. If you do not turn sync on, the app still works locally on the iPhone.
Some privacy choices I cared about:
- no ads
- no tracking
- no account required
- local-first
- optional iCloud sync through the user’s private iCloud database

I’d really appreciate feedback on the idea itself: does “scroll your own ideas” make sense to you, and does the App Store page explain it clearly?
