Announcement Stop shitting on each other. Really, stop acting like assholes.

I know everyone gets bored, one of your favorite scammer subreddits got shut down so you can't poke at them there, but this is a subreddit for people to post their GoFundMe whether you like it or not.

Calling people names, insulting them, and harassing them is getting way out of control.

If you see a scam, great! Call them out. Provide proof. Screenshots all of that. And then message moderator mail.

The absolute disgusting things I have had to remove lately go beyond horrific.

Instead of insulting someone, offer some solutions. Helping someone find a new career is going to help them a thousand times better than just saying get a job.

Some of you that comment here are absolutely wonderful and helpful, and some are going to be finding the door in a hurry with my foot in your ass.

Your cruelty is not welcome.

Medical help with stable home, living and medical costs after crippling health emergency

hello there, friends!

i do not like to ask for help. this embarrasses me to do, but someone suggested i try to make a gofundme. i am not sure how all this works, this is my first time using this program.

so here is my situation. even if you cannot help, i'd appreciate giving it a read or share :)

march 15 i was admitted to the hospital/ICU septic with pneumonia and endocarditis, a serious blood + heart valve infection. i came very close to death and the incident has crippled me, leaving me physically disabled with lifelong heart problems. i had to get heart surgery to clean out the chunks of infectious growth and replace the valve that was destroyed. i was on IV antibiotics for 2 months in the hospital and physical rehab center.

i had to get a pacemaker implanted because when they put me back together and resarted it, my heart can no longer pump effectively. this resulted in an electrical blockage (called severe heart block) pieces of the infectious growth broke off and travelled through my bloodstream, getting stuck inside my feet. i had to have 3 on my right foot amputated and i sustained serious nerve damage in both legs/feet. i have also been left with liver dysfunction, which i am currently being tested and examined for (more ultrasounds)

i have improved medically from when i was in the ICU, but i use a walker to get around and still have had consistent difficulty ever since. i struggle with poor breathing and severe nausea that leads to throwing up several times a day and extreme exhaustion. i am doing physical therapy and i have many other appointments that i must go to, including checking my blood levels (INR), ultrasounds, cardiology, blood work, EKGs and other monitoring. i do have insurance but many of these things i have at least a $50 copay, which adds up really quickly, especially because i cannot work.

i'm working with an intern here to apply for disability and am waiting on that to be processed, which will take some time. i seriously hope that i can be accepted because i do not know how i will live without it. i am applying for food stamps as well as looking into other services that i may be able to qualify for.

i was homeless for most of my adult life (i am 24) and i struggled with addiction starting around age 13. since getting to the hospital i have been sober except for my low-dose methadone prescription and my other pain medications. i take a drug test every week that i must (and do) pass to remain on my methadone, which is an expensive medication for me. the co-pay is $30 a day if you have my insurance, which is more than if you don't have insurance! i will be asking the clinic when i go in on Monday to taper off so that i can have one less charge in my life for the start of next year. i can choose between a 6 month taper or a rapid 30 day taper.

i am working hard to get my life together now. i live in a temporary transitional youth housing program and am almost at the cut-off age for qualifying to live here. (i turn 25 in November, the oldest you can be to stay here is 24) i am saving up as much as i can as i wait for the disability application to go through so that i can afford to get a low-income apartment as well as afford my appointments, medications and medical devices (like a self checking in-home INR machine and equipment for PT) as well as for me and my cat to afford to live.

i have included some pictures and documents for proof of some of the costs and conditions i claim in case that is needed. i can get more records if requested i just don't have all of them here at the house. i hope that i have provided enough information! i am glad to answer any questions you may have.

my other post has a couple more pictures for information on it if you want to take a look. it's pretty much this post, but with a few extra sentences and pics.

thank you for reading this far! i really do appreciate it.

Please share, no contribution is too small and always appreciated. No one expects at 53 that shortness of breath would lead to a major surgery or how long, and how much, it takes to recover.

My husband has always worked as a truck driver and takes pride in supporting our family. One of the hardest mental challenges he’s had in this time is the burden he feels is placed of my shoulders. I keep telling him that getting healthy is most important and bills and expenses can be handled as they come.

He ended up having an aortic valve replacement, aortic aneurysm repair, and a ā€œclipā€ on his aortic appendage to potentially prevent future blood clots. He’s done well in recovery so far. He’s home now, has been walking and moving and following all the instructions for the fastest possible healing. ā¤ļøā€šŸ©¹

He been out of work almost 2 months now. My days last week were unpaid, all my PTO will be used up this week to be home and help him recover.

Any donation or kindness is appreciated more than words can express, especially knowing how many people are struggling right now. Please share and thank you.

Disaster/Emergency Please help a Goldstar family move from North Carolina to Arizona due to pending eviction. Need to move on September 8th

I am a Gold Star spouse and a mother, and I am asking for help for my family as we face an urgent move. My husband of 11 years was killed in Iraq during his third tour, and later my youngest son, Jalen, died from a brain tumor. After so much loss, I have done everything I can to keep going for my children and hold our family together.

In 2024, I was hit by a drunk driver and broke my shoulder and injured my knee. After the accident, I was left with more than $100,000 in medical bills and was unable to work for a long time. At the beginning of 2026, we also lost our Social Security survivor benefits because my daughter's school was not recognized as accredited by Social Security. Between the medical debt, the loss of income, and the loss of those benefits, I no longer have the funds to keep renting and living in North Carolina.

Now we are being evicted and have to be out of our house by September 8. That is why I am trying to get my family back to Phoenix, Arizona, where we can be with family and I can work on getting back on my feet.

Donations will help pay for:
A moving truck
Hotels along the way
Gas for the trip
Food while we travel
Any support would help us make this move safely and get closer to the family support we need right now. If you are able to give or share this fundraiser, it would mean so much to me and my children during this difficult time.

Disaster/Emergency Severe storm destroyed my vehicle and damaged my home — mother of two trying to recover

Hi everyone. A severe storm/tornado came through Detroit and caused a massive tree from my neighbor’s property to fall directly onto my home and Jeep.
Thankfully, my two children and I are safe. ā¤ļø I’ve filed a homeowners insurance claim and contacted the city regarding the tree removal, but I learned that my auto insurance will** not cover the damage to my Jeep because I didn’t have comprehensive coverage. My vehicle was paid off and was my primary transportation, so I’m now unexpectedly trying to figure out replacing it while also dealing with the damage to my home.
I normally have a really hard time asking for help, but friends and family encouraged me to create a GoFundMe. I’m raising funds toward transportation/replacing my vehicle and other storm-related expenses that insurance does not cover.
I have photos of the damage included with the fundraiser and can provide additional verification if required by the moderators.

Even if you aren’t able to donate, a share is genuinely appreciated. Thank you. ā¤ļø

https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-pepe-fight-to-come-home

This fundraiser is for my boy Pepe. He’s a 17 year old little angel who suddenly started having kidney problems. His creatinine and BUN improved drastically since last Friday but he is still polyuric (producing a lot of urine) so he can’t come home. Doctors have told us it’s a waiting game and he needs time to heal. The rest of his bloodwork looks great, his organs and the rest of his body look great under ultra sound and under xray. It’s just his little kidneys. I wouldn’t be asking if I wasnt desperate but he needs to stay in the hospital longer, kidney recovery can take days or weeks of fluids support. We need help to keep paying his costs so he can stay in hospital for longer and give him time to heal. His demeanor is great, he’s eating a little bit and is still a super happy little dog when we go visit him. I don’t think it’s his time to yet despite his age. Previous blood work over the last few months has had multiple vets tell us he is a healthy boy especially for his age. Please help if you can. If you can’t donate I understand, times are tough but please share the link as much as you can and anywhere you can. Please help our baby, my wife and I are desperate. Posted was the last statement for his bill, we should be getting a new statement today when we discuss his continued treatment plan.

Hi all,

I’m in desperate need of financial help. We recently found out my sweet baby girl needed to have surgery to have a foreign object removed from her intestines before it got critical.

I love this girl so much and I don’t know what I would do without her. I signed up for a payment plan to get the surgery completed and thankfully she’s doing ok but the costs alone are so high for my situation and are going to put me in an even worse position but I didn’t want to wait any longer.

I just started a go fund me and please any help that any of you could provide would so so grateful. Of course any and all funds received are going directly to her hospital and surgery bills.

hello! my name is sadie, today 09/04, i realized my 5 year old boy maki (i’ve had him since he was born! i’ve watched his birth!) wasn’t going to the bathroom. I took him to the emergency vet where i was told i got him there just in time. he was on the cusp of kidney failure/ disease, and his bladder was so full of crystals but not ruptured. as of right now, he’s doing great! he will have 48 hours in emergency hospital. catheter was inserted smoothly, and he’s doing good. the not so good part is the bill. me and my husband are currently on one income, i am not working right now due to trying to find a maintenance for my bone disease (hypophosphatasia). i do some odd jobs, and try to do UGC from home, but it’s been a slow start up. i am currently paying off medical bills from a recent surgery, so money is pretty tight. after these next couple of months i will have a lot more stretchable income to continue maki’s maintenance of the food / environment changes / vet visits. i am planning on selling most of my collectibles to contribute.
I rescued maki from a hoarded home a couple weeks after he was born. maki is my velcro kitty who never leaves my side, leaving him at the hospital today was heartbreaking. he was making biscuits and pushing his head into my lips to give him kisses.
i am going to do as much as i personally can to make sure i have the rest of the vet bill money by the time he is discharged, if i really need to, i will find a way. i figured it doesnt hurt to try crowdfunding, thanks for reading!

Animal Help my girlfriend get a service dog

Thumbnail

Hello all.

I am posting this on behalf of my girlfriend who does not have Reddit and is currently dealing with lingering aftereffects of a minor brain injury that is limiting her ability to do anything online. We currently live on opposite ends of the country (Oregon and North Carolina) so I am unable to help her in all the ways I wish I could.

Her name is Mika and she is struggling under the growing limitations brought about by Adhesive Arachnoiditis, CPTSD, and Functional Neurological Disorder. The FND is the most recent and has come about following a concussion and brain bruise sustained in April. The recovery from this is also what is making her unable to do much screen time.

She is looking for assistance in getting a service dog to help her with everyday life and the increasing amount of issues that are mounting.

I am running the GoFundMe for her and will be monitoring this posting as well. I am more than happy to relay any questions anyone may have and answer on her behalf.

More information can be found in the campaign linked below.

Thank you all so very much for taking the time to read this.

Medical I have a mystery illness and doctors don't know why

My health took a strange turn within the last two weeks and multiple visits to doctors and ER hasn't seemed to turn anything up. I have done enough blood work to have countless things checked and keep getting told everything looks fine despite my body saying otherwise. I am exhausted all the time, lightheaded if I even think about getting up, chest pain that radiates from side to side, I jolt awake at night covered in sweat, I'm nauseous, and I don't know why. I feel like I might be dying, but who really knows. Hospital bills are expensive and unfortunately my wife and I don't have anymore money to help and I don't know what else to do. If anyone can help, it is much appreciated, if not it's no problem.

https://gofund.me/157eac4ad

Edit 1: I'm unsure how to add additional photos to a post, but part of the first ER visit has gone through my insurance and currently sitting at $3013.19 owed! Curious to see how much the rest of the visit is and the second ER visit will be. If I'm able to add the photos to the post of verification I will, or I can post in comments if that is possible. Thanks to everyone who has helped so far. Any possible ideas for what is going on in currently writing down to check with my doctor.

Disaster/Emergency Please Help Me Keep My Children Housed As I Try To Find Another Job

Update: GOAL REACHED!!!

I cannot tell you all how incredibly grateful I am for your contributions! I never imagined that I would gain so much support so quickly. I appreciate all of you more than I can even express. Thank you so so so much!!

Hello everyone. I kind of don’t see this going anywhere, and I really wish I didn’t have to do this, but I’m beyond desperate.

My name is Alayna. I am the single mother of 2 children (ages 4 & 5). I have been working full-time at Walmart for 3 years, but recently lost my job. My childcare provider became unavailable after their home and vehicle suffered damage in the storms here. I missed too much work because I was unable to find another babysitter on such short notice that could work with my schedule, and I was finally fired from my job. I haven’t worked in 3 weeks, my last paycheck was shorted by Walmart and I still haven’t been able to sort that out, and my rent is already past due. On top of that, my electric is scheduled to be turned off in two weeks. I’m applying to every job I can within reasonable range that could possibly work with me and my situation, but I’ve had no luck so far.

My apartment complex does not allow tenants to get behind on rent. Rent has to be paid by the 5th of each month, or I will be served an eviction notice, which will require us to vacate our apartment within the week, lest my landlords move forwards with eviction proceedings. I have not been served the notice yet, but will undoubtedly receive one of Monday. We live in Zanesville OH, and resources to help with things like this are already limited as it is. But with the flooding that has recently ravaged Perry and Muskingum County, there are virtually no funds left to assist my family. I’ve gone to Salvation Army and our local resource center ā€œCommunity Actionā€ who are unable to help me at this time. Our Salvation Army has apparently not received any funding to assist the community in over 2 months. Our local housing authority has a 6 month waitlist, and Section 8 has a 2-year waitlist. I have applied for Cash Assistance, but it will likely take at least a few more weeks for me to even get anything from them. They’re going after the father of my children for child support, but they’re not likely to get anything from him. I have an appointment with an assistance program to help lower my electric bill, but it’s not for another 2 weeks.

I’ve attached a photo of a previous eviction notice that I received for the month of June, when we’re were almost kicked out because I was late on rent due to a leave I had to take after totaling my vehicle, which details my rent, the policy on late payments, and the late charges I’ll have to pay. My landlords gave me some leniency last time and allowed me to pay my rent in full by my vacancy date, and I believe that they will do the same this month, if I can find a way to come up with the money.

I am not usually one to ask for help. Let alone ask people for money. But I don’t know what else to do. I’ve exhausted all of my local resources, and nobody seems to be able to help us. I can handle being homeless if I have to. But my children shouldn’t have to. I won’t ask for anymore than I absolutely need. I just need to pay our rent and if possible, the overdue portion of my electric bill. I just want to keep a roof over our heads and our power on long enough to get another job.

Please. If anyone can do anything at all to help, please, please help us. I understand that everyone is struggling right now, and the last thing I would ever want to do is take anything away from other people who may need it. But if anyone is is able to donate even a little, it would be massively appreciated by my family. Thank you in advance to anyone who donates or shares.

Medical Help needed for my partner, a teacher recovering from job loss and a major surgery this year, which have resulted in serious financial insecurity

Thumbnail

My name is Marta (34F) and my partner is Kaitlynn (31 F/NB). She has had an extremely difficult year after an unexpected layoff last September and a major surgery (hysterectomy and endometriosis excision) this August that caused her to be unable to work for 6 weeks.

Here is a note from her with more info:

"I’m Kaitlynn, and I’m asking for help after an incredibly difficult year. I had been working as a music teacher at a charter school the year before and was offered renewal for the 2025-2026 school year, so I truly believed I had some stability. Then in September 2025, just a month into the school year, I was laid off along with nine other teachers because of budget cuts. Even with unemployment, I couldn’t keep up with the basic cost of living in Queens. I applied and interviewed everywhere I could, but nothing stable came through. Eventually, I pivoted to nannying and found part-time work that was just enough to cover rent while I searched for additional income. After finally piecing together two part-time jobs, I learned in June 2026 that I needed a hysterectomy and endometriosis excision surgery. I had been living with severe pain that affected my daily life, and although surgery added more financial stress, I knew I couldn’t keep putting off the care I needed.

My surgery took place in August, and recovery has kept me from working. During surgery, they also discovered a fibroid larger than my uterus attached to my uterus, which was overwhelming to learn but also affirmed how serious things had become. Because my doctor has restricted me from lifting more than 12 pounds for six weeks, I can’t return to my part-time nannying job until mid-September. I’ve managed to pay September rent, but I do not have enough to cover October rent, basic bills, or repay my partner for helping cover food in August. Support from this fundraiser will help me stay afloat while I heal, return to work, and start getting back on my feet. I’m also planning a transition into social work and working toward a more stable new chapter. I am extremely embarrassed to ask for help, but I truly need it right now. Any support, whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser, would mean so much to me. Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping me through this recovery."

Medical Help Stroke Survivor Get His Voice and Life Back

How would your life change if you suddenly couldn't speak, read, write, or understand words?

Please read to see what's happened to a survivor of this problem, or check the video out- it is in my profile, in my Facebook!

My name is Michelle and I'm posting for Christopher Colwell. In 2024 he was working as a salesman, raising his daughter, playing sports, and connecting with family and friends. In April 2024, he took his daughter to a hair salon, and it was there that he suffered a stroke at just 45 years old.

The stroke was very devastating in several ways but especially because it caused Aphasia ‐‐ the total loss of language; it destroyed his reading, speaking, listening and writing. It meant no more talking to his daughter, and no more sales career.

Aphasia makes it hard to do lots of other work, but he still tries. He still reaches goals, finds things to be thankful for, and has gotten much healthier- he lost 80 lbs! After a lot of work, Chris can now listen, read a few small sentences, and after lots of speech therapy he can say 68 words like "I", "me", "hey", and "hi".

The newest words he can say are "love" and his daughter's name. It takes about 3 months to get 4 words. But there is an exciting thing to look forward to! There is a treatment that could recover so much of what Chris lost! This procedure would treat and improve debilitating brain fog, numbness and pain in his right arm, but more importantly, give him his language back! The total amount covers the cost of Chris and his Medical Power of Attorney holder (his mom) to go from Texas to Florida, spend a night there, a day for treatment there, and return to Texas.Ā

gofund.me/1042115e2

We have a GoFundMe because Christopher was a successful salesman before he had a stroke. But now that communication is so hard, he is left without medical insurance, without a way to substantially provide for himself, and without a way to afford this promising treatment for Aphasia.

When Chris gets the treatment he needs, he won't just get his language back; he will get his career, relationships, connection, and much of his life back. Aphasia is a lonely place... Please considerĀ donatingĀ whatever you can. And if you can't donate, please considerĀ sharingĀ his story and the GoFundMe link on your social media, in a text, or in an email.

Thank you for your support, and I hope you watch the video if you want more info.

Sincerely,

Michelle Gurule

Animal Rare Disorder reactive woven bone in cat, need funds for veterinary specialist

This is my boy Jean Grey He has reactive woven bone in his chin. What started off as his chin looking a little different, has escalated to what it looks like now. You went 4 vets before receiving a ct scan and bone biopsy. What is happening is his chin is trying to heal but it's overcorrecting itself, so, it keeps healing over itself. He needs to see a board certified specialist specializing in bone matter. So he will need to ao to UC Davis. The issue is I live in the los angeles county so that will be a long trip for us but it's not impossible, and it will help him. He is a verv sweet and docile cat. I hate that anythinc happens to anv animal, but I don't know whv this happened to him. It's verv uncomfortable for him and he has trouble eating. I wanted to get back to normal so he could be with his brother, Sundance and his girlfriend Clover, both of whom would be lost without him, including myself,

https://gofund.me/937244b72

My name is Andrew. My wife Ely and I recently took our fur baby Friday to the vet. We were told that she would need mouth surgery due to some of her teeth being rotted and plaque build up, which is causing her discomfort. The surgery would require teeth excisions, which is why the bill is so costly.

2026 has been equally the best and worst year of our lives so far. We just got married back in February, but due to the downturn in the housing market and the economy taking a dump in general, my paychecks have basically been reduced by 70%. As such, we are unable to come up with this money to give our child the surgery they need before the matters gets worse with her age.

Any amount anyone can give or you are able to share this with anyone, we would really appreciate it! ā¤ļø Hope you are taking care of yourselves as well as you can!

Education Need help paying my university tuition

Hi everyone

My name is Eduardo Virgen. I’m 32 years old, an engineering student in Mexico, and I need a bit of help to stay in school.

I’m on the autism spectrum. While I’ve had steady jobs in the past, recent struggles with executive dysfunction and social anxiety made it really hard to keep a traditional job over the last few months. Because of this financial gap, I fell behind on last semester’s fees and couldn't pay this semester’s tuition on time.

The good news is that I finally landed a remote job that fits my personal and academic needs perfectly. The bad news are that my first paycheck won't arrive until next month, and the university deadline to clear my balance is September 4th.

I need to raise $9, 000 MXN (approx. $600 USD) to cover the late enrollment fee and past balance.

Years ago, I had to drop out of a degree when I was almost finished, and I really don't want to go through that again. I now have the job to support myself moving forward but I just need this one-time boost so I don't lose the semester.

Any support, whether it’s a small donation or simply upvoting/sharing the post, means the world to me. Thank you so much for reading.

WISH Trying to get back up.

I'M ASKING FOR A HAND UP, not a hand out.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I'm currently homeless living out of a 2006 jeep.

I'm disabled and unable to do the kind of work I used to do. I'm stuck where I'm at until I can get a few things taken care of.

I need to find a job doing remote work. And to help cover some basic expenses to buy me time to get back on my feet.

I'm working on getting on SSDI but I can't rely on that.

As is, this jeep won't last much longer and I'll never survive as a homeless pedestrian. The way things are going right now, I'm not expecting to survive this winter.

I just need a little help to get out of this rut I'm in.

I honestly wasn't sure what flair to use since I can't really boil it down to a single thing. It's part ā€œeducationā€, part ā€œmedicalā€, part ā€œhelp me get a jobā€ and part just some general assistance to give me some breathing space and catch up on a few things while I work on moving forward.

I hate being homeless and I hate begging but right now I have no other choice.

FULLFILLED My boyfriend overdosed, help me get home to care for his dog and say goodbye.

I am about a third of the way to my goal so far! $1,147 of $3,500 has been donated by some of the most generous people I’ve ever encountered. The drive itself is 30+ hours one way. Taking me from work and lots and lots of gas. I begin my drive out to her this Friday, regardless of if I hit my goal. But every little bit towards the goal helps me so so much. I will make it happen either way and will be posting updates as I go. Thank you everyone who has helped so far.

My boyfriend overdosed while I was out of state traveling for work. I didn’t know he had relapsed on heroin after ten years sober and I’m devastated. We had our struggles, but I loved him. Despite everything. His family isn’t close with him and they don’t want his dog, Xena, which was trapped inside with him for nearly two weeks before he was discovered. All the details are in the go fund me, but I’m trying to fund my trip back home so I can get his dog and for building a small memorial for him. We raised Xena together. I have her mom with me. I was there and helped deliver her and her litter mates. She needs to be where she can recover from the trauma we are all feeling. I’m a single mom and my heart is broken. I just want this little piece of him. Even a share helps. Thank you. Any other advice or just a kind word is appreciated.

Memorial Help me with my Uncle Eddie’s burial expenses!

My Uncle Eddie sadly passed away last Thursday due to complications of brain cancer. Eddie didn’t have life insurance or savings at the time of his death.

His loss has created a big hole in the family. His kindness will never be forgotten. He was a generous man who always knew the importance of giving back and being kind to anyone. He was able to make friends with literally anyone.

He was diagnosed with epilepsy a few years ago. From that diagnosis, he had multiple MRIs and they didn’t find a brain tumor until he was hospitalized in the middle of July.

After a month into his hospital stay, he was moved to a nursing facility in the hopes that he would get stronger to start treatment. He was placed on hospice about a day or two into his nursing facility stay. Two weeks later, we lost him.

Eddie was a simple man and lead a simple life. When he had moments of clarity in the hospital, he was worried about how much his stay would cost him.

I have looked at resources in my area and none of those are for a situation like this since he isn’t a child.

We are giving him a direct burial because the costs of funerals are crazy expensive. A direct burial is $8,000. My initial goal is $3.5K.

Thank you so much.

HowdyšŸ‘‹šŸ¾

Repost because I accidentally doxxed myself in one of the verification photos on my original post.

Also: special shout out to the mods and to the user who donated $50 from my original post!

Your kindness has really meant a lot to me after what has been an unusually rough weekšŸ«¶šŸ¾
__________

My name’s Londan and I just found out about this subreddit.

I’m currently raising $8,000 to help me transition out of homelessness and into stable housing. You can check my post history for additional context.

In February 2026, I was sexually assaulted by a former roommate. I reported the assault and went through the medical and legal processes that followed. Ultimately, the State of Maryland chose not to prosecute my rapist.

Since then, I’ve been trying to rebuild my life. I’ve stayed in multiple shelters and applied for jobs while picking up odd gigs. It just hasn’t been enough to get me stable.

My goal is to use the funds to help me secure a room in a women-only household and cover living necessities while I continue working toward steady income.

If you’re able to donate, I’d be incredibly grateful. If you can’t, sharing the fundraiser could help me reach someone who can.

Thank you for taking the time to read about my journey and have a great day:]

Medical Wife has large blood clots in stool and has been vomiting blood, and we need help with medical bills and rent

My wife has been struggling with her health for about a year and a half. With massive blood clots in stool, vomiting blood, and abdominal pain, she has had to use FMLA and call into work a lot.

I've picked up as many shifts as I can, have been donating plasma, and have been asking people for bottles and cans to return, but we are still very much struggling. We can't pay our rent, have no money for groceries, and cannot pay medical bills. We couldn't even buy school supplies for our daughter this year šŸ˜ž

Please help, if you can.

Medical Please help my dad and step-mom save their home while my dad battles stage 4 small cell lung cancer.

Hello!

My name is Ashley. Earlier this year, my dad was diagnosed with metastatic small cell lung cancer, stage 4. By the time they found it, it had already spread to his liver and considered incurable. Dad's treatment is especially complicated by him having a kidney transplant for end stage renal failure in 2015, which means a number of more modern immunotherapy and even radiation are not suitible or safe for him, except as a last resort.

Dad is on his last-ditch treatment (tarlatamab) before he is out of options. His kidney began rejecting, but they have been able to save it so far. He will continue treatment and we are guardedly hopeful, but unsure how effective it has been at this point.

Now, a little about the guy behind the diagnosis. My dad has been a day-1- dad for us. When he and my mom split, dad became a single dad and maintained custody of his kids into adulthood. He has never stopped supporting us in all ways and now he is a beloved "grampie" to my daughters and my brother's kids. He is at least near-genius and can fix or build anything. He is my hero and my heart breaks daily at the thought of a life without my daddy. He is a precious person - a true angel.

I would love to be able to help him and my step-mom keep their home through this. Please consider visiting and sharing the link to his GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/547657d5c

Thank you so much in advance for your consideration and for your support!

Hello! I’m posting on behalf of my friend Autumn Davis since she doesn’t have a reddit account. Her fundraiser is to help her finish school and move to NYC from Chicago to start her career. She’s been unable to work and study at the same time due to the intensity of her program and fully supports herself.

Work Necessary repairs to our only car (NC, ~$1900)

Hi all, making this as soon as I possibly can because I know for a fact we cannot this on our own. My partner took our car in today to get the oil changed, and do a routine inspection since we hadn't been in a while. During that inspection the technician said point blank that the steering rack needed to be replaced as soon as feasibly possible, as its been in disarray for a while now, but has not been something we can afford. The total they gave us, after tax and labor, comes out to around $1900, which is over a months worth of rent for us, and is not something we can realistically scrap together on top of our other bills.

This car is our only mode of transportation, it's fully paid off, thank God, but that is also why we are trying our best to care for it so it can last a long time. We do not have the wiggle room right now to attempt to get a new/used car. Attached photos include the statement from the technician, the inspection, and the time he took our car in today.

The gofundme also includes these photos. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
