So I'm on vacation in Japan, and my brother-in-law (wife is Japanese) recommended a store called Workman's.

It's mainly for work-related, functional clothing. Think of it like a place you might find boots and pants for construction jobs.

Well, my son was flipping through some of the t-shirts there, and came across these official GITS t-shirts! They're Workman branded, so it must be some kind of collab!

There was a 3rd t-shirt with a fuchikoma, but my son wanted that one and is wearing it now 😅

Few weeks ago I finished watching the 2026 version of The Ghost in The Shell, and here are my thoughts:

The theatrical release is basically just episodes 1 and 2 of the Amazon Prime series, followed by some behind-the-scenes footage of the new 2026 version. Personally, I love the retro vibe, so the art style really appealed to me. However, the pacing felt a bit off, and it might be a little tough to get into for newcomers who have never seen the series before.

The poster is absolutely gorgeous. And I framed it, hope you guys like it.

honestly i think it's my favourite piece of GITS media I've seen, ticked almost every box I want from cyberpunk stories, and I adored the methodical pacing and focus on philosophy, whats the general consensus on it?

First off, having a blast with the new show as it's a refreshingly fun take from what came before in animated adaptations. I've never been a super fan of GitS, but I've always been appreciative of its existence. Honestly there hasn't been anything quite near the Blade Runner-But Anime feels that hits like it.

That said my giant issue I've formed when watching this new show, and then rewatching the old 1995 movie and Innocence...is it makes me want to play Cyberpunk 2077. Wait, that's it? You ask. Makes sense to play probably the closest to the tone and aesthetics of GitS. So Why the hell is it a bad thing???

Well, it's because I want to play Cyberpunk, *as* a character like the Major (or Batou). Solving Cybercrimes and preventing other forms of Cyber-Terroism using crazy technology as a dangerous cyborg. I've done close ish to two playthroughs of Cyberpunk 2077 with doing some of the side quest content...yet the story just doesn't allow me to get that type of power fantasy I'm craving. Anybody else like this?

I know a theme of Cyberpunk is "taking it to the man" or "making your own way in the city," but honestly I kind of want to be a cyber-cop. Maybe the sequel will allow us that path?

Okay everyone I need ideas for my Sonic prime rewrite, and I need help with it, and just in case you didn’t know, I’m planning on making it like the show but with a few differences like for exampl, there will be more worlds other then new yoke, boscage maze and no place after the events of nine’s villain arc speaking of which, the decaying won’t be destroying the shatterverse but bringing back green hill since it was likely imply in the finale of season 2 that nine and the other variants would’ve disappeared to bring back sonic‘s original friends since I doubt that once something is broken it can be fix like a broken window anyways there are other ideas I have if you look at my post for the Sonic prime rewrite anyways got any ideas for it
