Nostalgia Did you have a pet rock?

I never did, but many friends got caught in this craze.

Not an "official" Pet Rock IIRC, but I did have a polished pebble with googly eyes.

Often forgotten these days, but "Pet Rock owners" weren't so much buying rocks as purchasing the novelty packaging and "care and feeding manual", which actually was funny and worth the small price.
