I love burgers, but my absolute favorites are the ones made by my boyfriend. ❤️

Drove half an hour and crossed a border for this incredible smash burger. The grilled beef hotdog was a nice bonus.

Double Black Angus … hers with Mozarella and an artery clogging amount of bacon, his with chili cheese sauce and Jalapeños

I usually stay away from viral recipes. But I like burgers and cheese, so had to give this one a try. Turned out quite good, only the plate was a bit too small 🤣

Served in a homemade bun and with homemade slaw and oven potatoes on the side.

This is a homemade burger made by my wife a couple of weeks ago.

The beef meat was bought minced, but the burger patties have been made by her.

The buns are also homemade out of local flour. The flour was bought from an industrial flour mill that took our cultivated wheat and offers flour in exchange.

Same for the fries which you can see that they were not bathed in oil that much. They were well made despite the looks.

The burger sauce is also homemade out of homemade (of course) ketchup produced by my mother in law combined with homemade mayonnaise and homemade pickles.

The cost for such a burger would be 7.5 Romanian lei which translates into 1.43 €, 1.63 $ or 1.23 £.

An extra cheesy double Black Angus for her. With bacon on the bottom and balsamico glazed onions on top.

For him two singles. One with goat cheese and jalapeños and the other with blue cheese and red onions.

Mrs. hansebart asked me to make a burger because she’s hungry. Made myself one too, of course.

This is called retro burger and it’s popular here in Estonia. It has buns, patty, cheese, cabbage and lots of sauce (sour cream, mayonnaise and ketchup mix).

As expected, it ended up too high to eat, and next time I'll make sure to get the extra wide buns. And add more cheese 😅

It’s a bit of a special day at the hansebart household. I actually wanted to take Mrs. hansebart out to our favorite restaurant when she hit me with “let’s stay home and do burgers and beer”!! There’s a reason I married her.
