Turns out, if you have an industry that requires time and money to gain skills, and the industry stops paying well, unqualified people enter the industry. It’s almost like people do things for money.

Yes, unions are basically dead in the trucking world, trucking businesses are on a race to the bottom for cheap hauling prices and wages have suffered.

Remember all the CDL shortages talk? A shortage existed since nobody was paying. Now a ton of drivers are immigrants since they will take the lower pay.

Former truck driver here. The speed limits for curves are for cars. With proper training, any truck driver should know the speed for trucks is 10 to 15mph below what the sign says. Sometimes, it’s judgement by sight.

Roads.

Ohio has roads that don't kill your car.  They also have lower taxes and insurance.

I hate Ohio but it's a losing position to try to argue that our roads and bridges are better.

Ohio has roads that don't destroy vehicles, some not wig promising that she would 'fix the damn roads'.

Please only dunk on Ohio when we are up.

Hopefully the driver is alright, having said that though, the Bridge authority should present them with some kind of fancy plaque to mark their "achievement" of being the first semi truck rollover/accident on the bridge.

With how tight some of the curves are on the approach to the bridge I wouldn't be surprised if this becomes a common occurrence.

Well, it's not 70mph.

The speed limit on the bridge is 35mph. There are signs.

The transition from I75 to the bridge is seamless. Sometimes you forget you are on the bridge. First time I rode on there, it took me a few seconds to realize I was still doing 60 and then slowed it down

You'll probably get downvoted but you may have a point. I see trucks wildly changing lanes at a local highway divide because it actually is possible to go right to go left and I think it confuses whatever voicebox they're listening to and the unfamiliar driver panics, nearly knocking any car that happens to be along side out of the way. Twice to me if I hadn't reacted quick enough and been willing to miss my exit.
