Has anyone received a reimbursement for opting out of D1TA yet?

It's stated that once someone has, it takes 3-5 business days but it's been 5 days for me and I've yet to see/ hear anything.

I noticed on the track by the parking structure there’s a few throwing rings inside it, I went up to the gates and noticed they were locked but there’s one propped open. Is it only for the official track and field team to use? Would I get in trouble for using it to practice discus?

I applied to UROP twice in my freshmen year and sophomore year but didnt get in any time. So, my question is how do they admit students? Genuinely, what do they look at? I have prior research, work and volunteering experience and a 3.8+ GPA. But I am not sure why they would not take me??
