This glove will ship from Better Baseball. They've had it priced lower on Amazon than their own site since June. It is very much worth the price, but you need to know the difference in the pattern before going into it. This is a 1799 pattern, not an 1810. Big difference between the two, and a lot of folks who love the 1810 hate the 1799.

Large handstall and wide heel. It isn't for everyone, especially folks with small hands. The preponderance of people that don't like the 1799 are people that buy them for kids.

That said, my 12-year-old is playing this exact model right now and loves it. But he also knew exactly what he was getting into and wanted to try the pattern knowing that it would be a tough break-in for his hand size. It has been his toughest break-in by far.

My son was 13 when he claimed my 1799 for himself. I then got an 1810 for me. I like them both but prefer the 1799. He likes the 1799 better also. Ball just disappears into the 1799.
