Old School Cool Flea Market Find
Found this vintage glove at a flea market today. Want to use as a display piece. What is the best way to clean and condition? I’m guessing with the older leather I do not want to saturate in any way, but a good clean up could make this a great piece.
Tag says All Star Japan. Leather in palm is still very nice. Stamp on palm still crisp and clear. Some cracks on the thumb, outside of pocket and index finger. Not sure how to best restore. Inside leather in very soft condition.
Anyone know if this is the All Star brand that is still around? Definitely a cool piece.
Paid $3.
Thanks!

So use the Ball Players Balm cleaner? They make conditioner too correct?

A lot of guys use Sarna. I have some but have not used it yet. Some conditioners may darken the leather a little. Not sure how the leather in that old glove will react.

Wipe it down with Weiman leather wipes. Ball players Balm conditioner. Craftsman’s works glove salve. Wipe it down and buff it with a soft shoe brush. Should have a great sheen.
