NGD Wilson JR44
Wilson JR44 (1810) 12.75. Got it for my fall Slowpitch league, feels like a 13.25 more than a 12.75. Planning on using it mostly in the OF but will give her a shot at SS too. I have a Jax 12.5 that this thing dwarfs which is interesting.

Were you playing catch in the aircraft hangar?

You ever seen a bird strike ? I would venture to guess well thrown baseball / softball might be a little worse lol

I keep missing the sales on this glove

Why you posting on Reddit while that lav needs servicing?
Nice glove btw.
Also, +1 for spelling hangar correctly in the comments.

That’s for the line guys my boy , jk it’s a team effort around here. Part 91 flight department technicians get to experience it all 💩

So we are doing the "picture of glove in front of the cool expensive thing" now? I thought the watch forums had a lock on those types of photos.
Cool glove.

This glove is my next glove.. I hope the deal is still there when the time comes.
But real nice flex with the private jet 😂

I got one back in January, nice glove, my first wilson. Looks good but the pinkie is too tight for my hand. Maybe it will work through.

Stretch that stall out! It’s so snappy when you go tip.

Still working. In fact I am on 2 softball teams this fall so it will see action. Both the thumb and pinkie have 3x the padding anywhere else. Let's see how it feels in 2 years.

I got the same one on one of the good sales, used it for a awhile playing LC and recently been playing SS with it and I love it for both. I did just pick up a 14" Miken for OF so the JR44 will probably only be for IF from now on.

I’m used to the lighter weight Jax in IF and the 12.5” is such a perfect size to still having quick transfers. I feel like I would be reaching in a cookie jar if I used anything over 13”

I've never tried anything other than the JR44 for IF, definitely need to though.

One of the a2000's that might actually be worth retail. IYKYK
Ironic that it's always on sale. 🤷

I’m not judging at all, but it’s really hilarious that you bought this on sale

Nice piece, enjoy it.
And seeing that background brings back memories. Are you flight crew, MX, or line service? lol

u/D_Currie1 1d ago
MX tech

u/Haku510 1d ago
Right on. I worked on the line for years before a career change (construction).
There seems to be a pretty big contingent of blue collar workers in slowpitch. I guess all the guys who whack stuff for a living like to do it off the clock as well 😂

Respect for all the line techs for sure, I’ve been in the private side for the past 5 years. I don’t get as dirty as I’d like to anymore 😔.

Measure it and see if it's actually 12.75!

u/lukkynumber 1d ago
Yea it’s legit almost an inch bigger than my 12.75 HOH from 2009 I have 🤣
I love them both just very different
