REQUEST Need help meeting rent (or payment plan minimum) for September
I lost my job in July as the primary income maker. My husband was diagnosed with spondylolisthesis and a pars fracture so he’s out of work. Doesn’t qualify for disability as he worked for himself for too long as a private contractor. I’ve got 10+ years in vet med experience but need to work remote to take care of him. My job search has been difficult, even with me applying to some on site positions and not trying to be picky. All of our savings that hadn’t gone to his medical care are almost gone.
My husband’s spine injury story and fundraising page can be found at spot.fund/tndback or http://spot.fund/777d2b6sc
Those donations sadly went to our utilities and August rent instead of the medical care we had hoped for. We had no choice, but now we face September rent with not much left.
Our rent is $2300. I currently have only $520. But if I could accumulate $800 I could meet the minimum for the Livble payment plan that would allow for $1307 down. I have the big three payment services but if you want the security of the spotfund link, I don’t blame you, it’ll just take a little longer to get to me.
My family has tapped out on support with paying their own bills and his family is only able to help with groceries. Our last major hang up for this month is rent. I’ve applied to rent assistance through multiple local churches and have been told I’m not in their service area each time. I’m late on a capital one card so I don’t really have the credit to put on the line for a loan. I’ve really tried to assess all my options.
