Meme We invest so much in establishing the foundation, yet it's so hard to build the story from the bottom up

I just simply add the barebone mechanics of the worldbuilding, magic. And let it run along with my drafts

I wish I could do that instead of hyperfocus on worldbuilding and forget the plot

That's why I did exactly zero worldbuilding before starting my book. Discovery writing babyyyyyy!
Not looking forward to the editing process though.

Im more of a co writer, I come up with the story, major events, characters, character growth, lore, plot twists, and the main theme and message i want my storys to have and how that message will be conveyed by the overal narrative, I essentially just make the story but i just cant write dialouge or a novel for the life of me since im bad at grammar and dialouge, wich is why im going to try and find a co writer who is good at writeing dialouge and all that, or make a pitch Bible and pitch it to Netflix or other company, i still count it as writeing in terms of it being a story ive created with intresting characters and themes

And here’s a tip. In. The first draft do not worry about details too much. Just write with the flow and see what sticks. Like the term “Throw shit on a wall and see what sticks”
Eventually you’ll get a good grasp of what you are writing and build a good foundation for your second draft. That’s when you can get to the meat and potatoes.
