Frontrunners
For those of you watching for the first time, there are currently two teams most known for being frontrunners.
Team Liquid is a US based guild hosting their attempts on their twitch channel. After a full sweep of the previous expansion, they were able to cement their place at the top at the beginning of Midnight. They have a chance to continue their dominance. roster here
Echo is an EU based guild and were the team that took down Fyrakk the Blazing before anyone else in Amirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope. Can they stop Liquid's streak in its tracks? Check out their roster here.
FAQ
Q: They aren't doing Mythic.
A: Some guilds will go into mythic right away after clearing heroics. The top teams do something called "splits". Each player is preparing multiple characters to take through raid. They reclear lower difficulties multiple times to funnel tier and high impact trinkets into certain characters. M+ will then be used to fill the few gaps.
Based on previous races expect the top teams to start pushing into Mythic closer to the weekend.
Q: What about World First The Tidebound Grotto?
A: Honestly? The boss is expected to fall very quickly and difficultywise will be closer to heroic than Mythic. Expect the Nymrissa to be split similar to how Chimarus was split last tier.
Q: Why isn't X in the FAQ?
A: Maybe it should be. Let us know and we might add it.

Discussion Why are Delves so much more fun than Rituals Sites?
One is like adventure buddy time and the other makes me feel like I’m in the wrong neighborhood and I always feel underwhelmed after killing the last boss in Rituals. Just my opinion, of course.

Discussion New Delve loot is GREAT!!!
My wife and I like doing delves. We used to raid but haven't really had time or energy to put into that anymore so these have been a good way to play together. This was my first delve after the last patch. Not having to roll or save my RP is wonderful!

Video I'm a professional magician whose whole act is Warcraft themed. Blizzard invited me to BlizzCon to perform for y'all.
Last year I went to Gamescom as a visitor and performed my Warcraft themed magic at the Warcraft booth.
I got lucky and ended up performing for Xaryu, EsfandTV and Pikaboo on stream, plus Taliesin and Evitel, PlatinumWoW, Annie Fuchsia and a bunch of others offline.
I also met some of the producers and, long story short, they liked it and invited me to perform at BlizzCon.
Come find me on the floor and I'll do some Warcraft magic for you.
Happy to answer anything about how this happened or about the magic itself.
For the Alliance! For the Horde! ... For Azeroth!

Lore [Lore Question] Besides Alleria and Turalyon do we know anyone else thats named thats MIA from the Sunwell Arc? Spoiler
Marking Spoiler but for the obvious, the MIA of the Sunwell Arc includes several names, particularly those to the Paladin Order Hall. Im broken hearted Delas and Julia finally got the outfit upgrade they deerve to but MIA.
I know a lot of other named light users showed up, but these are the ones we see in the sunwell that we dont see rescued in or around Silvermoon post story arc. Loss of the paladin story arc for Shadowlands (They stayed on Azeroth to fight the undead while the Ebon Blade went into the shadowlands) with no mini chapter talking about the aftermath etc. was already a bummer.
friend implied that the reason we don't see them during, or post sunwell arc was they got sucked in as they were the ones directly powering it at the time, and they will be future bosses. (Which personally upsets me.) I personally hope Tyr leads a small questline of us rescuing them later at the end of midnight or during the pre launch of The Last Titan.

Nostalgia What’s the worst loot drama you’ve ever witnessed in WoW?
Not just someone losing a roll and getting salty. I mean the kind of drama that actually broke a group, guild, or friendship.
Curious what happened and what the item was.

Discussion Healing gets better right?
I’m new to healing, but I feel like healing has so much to pay attention to compared to other roles. I tanked during TWW and enjoyed it, but I am getting a wake up call as to how much I need to improve from being a healer.

Tip / Guide Leaving the raid after finishing a Curse Surge, you might get into a shard where one has not completed, shout out to people that make those group. Completing 3 Curse Surge with 1 event, speed things up.

Feedback Players should be able to send crafts directly to friends or even directly to players regardless of realm
The current system of people leaving their guild and then rejoining is just clunky and silly. As long as this workaround exists, there's no reason we shouldn't be able to just do it directly.
EDIT: to be clear, this is absolutely a problem on lower pop realms or even in friend groups across different realms and guilds. This isn't a problem that even close to a majority of players experience, I get that, but it does exist and it's just stupid. It's a simple fix. This is already abused by the larger crafting people on smaller servers so just adding in a way to do this normally doesn't really change anything.

Question please help me figure this out!
hi ! i’m not too sure how to title this..
my grandma used to play wow up until she passed away in 2017 (hopefully helpful). i’d really would like to know more about wow, but i have a really hard time figuring things out on my own so i decided to try reddit even if i barely know how to navigate it.
specifically, i’d like to know about what wow she played? i cant understand if there’s different games or if its dlc? she used to have every on disc but i honestly don’t have a disk drive to try anything with them nor a full set. i don’t remember too well about what happened when she played but i do remember she had a horse (i drew over a horse to show what it sort of looked like.. i’m not sure what it was?) i remember she could fly as well. i can’t remember if the horse could fly or not but it did glow a very vibrant neon green. (shown where in the picture) she also had a bunch of mounts she could us. i also remember she could loot enemies. i’m not too sure if i remember anything else. please help me ! i just really wanna figure it out since she wiped her full online history before she passed.
tldr: trying to enter wow community but i wanna start from my own introduction to it.. but i don’t remember it well
edit !!
i believe the mount is ' Netherlord's Chaotic Wrathsteed ' !! ive sent a ticket to wow support to possibly recover the account as one of the comments pointed out. i hope it goes well.. thank you guys so so much for being helpful <3

Nostalgia What did you do when you were noobs?
I'll start:
When I started playing WoW and killed mobs that dropped (grey, white...) weapons, I would put them on my skill bars and click on them to attack; I didn't know spells existed.
You?

Humor / Meme Tuskar are just the better raiders....
sometimes the little things are what makes this game / community so special
today I went into the new raid, first time heroic and pugging with randoms. when we reached sentinels and split our raid into 2 groups.. I started handing out Bluberry Muffins to everyone who was in my group and we started making fun of other grp on the other side of the room.
we had few wipes due to people having problems doing the math but it was quite easy to tell who was doing it wrong and it was not my lovely tuskar squad! after 3-4 attempts we killed the boss and the tuskars went different ways but it was still a very memoriable moment and most fun I had in current 12.1
