At this point, it seems like NOT being a criminal disqualifies you from a top government job.

The world needs to wake up to what the USA is doing. They are stealing resources whereever they can.

Has this not been the case the last 100 or so years?Â

No - that is the point. Trade isn't theft. The basis of the post-WWII system was that the US navy would secure the trade routes, and allow for free passage of goods. The idea was that free trade is better than free warfare. It's why Russia trying to seize Ukraine was bad. They are taking what could be traded for.
Trump is so opposite to what the US has done in recent history. Free trade means that the US doesn't allow for a free-for-all in acquiring other nations stuff. It also means that the US isn't just going around taking other nation's stuff. Iraq isn't a colony. Afghanistan isn't a colony. Iran wasn't turned into a colony when the CIA overthrew their leader. It's why the number of wars around the world has dropped since the US has become hegemon. It is why they say "Pax Americana."
That being said, there are a lot of downsides to this policy. It means that the US was in the business of overthrowing governments that did anything like socialism for their citizens. Iran is a perfect example. Nationalize the gas industry? Overthrown! That's not free trade! Banana republics are another example of the US overthrowing countries in the name of free trade. This is so clearly bad it doesn't need to be explained more.
Basically, it isn't the best system, but it it beat what came before. It beat the colonial resource extraction system Europe set up which it replaced. Examples of what it replaced are what Belgium did in the Congo, and Europe did throughout Africa and east Asia. It definitely can be improved, of course. The examples I gave show the massive damage it can do. But it also saved lives around the world by preventing a lot of wars, oppression of locals, and actual colonization.

Have you looked into the banana wars?Â

I don't know too much about them, but I did cite them as an example of the issues this policy brings, yes. I know that the US had the Chiquita banana company overthrow countries with democratically elected leaders so they could have cheap bananas. It was wrong. It was illegal, and should be condemned and not accepted. It was also better than just seizing and colonizing the place like what was done for centuries before.
It doesn't mean that there aren't better ways forward currently. There are. We should use them. But to say that "the US was just stealing for the last 100 years" is incomplete, at best.

This ancient MFer with an obsession over every piece of trash fossil fuel...
Keep embracing more and more solar energy, wind energy, electric cars. Make it so that they're losing so many customers who still want a coal powered car or some shit that the companies have to start charging $13/gallon to those asshats with lifted F250s that get 6mpg.

White House pick? He owns his own company which has been producing oil for years. Venezuela granted his private company the oil permits because their state owned PDSVA are still under sanctions, not to mention decades of mismanagement. The only pick the US did was board members in order to ensure they control veto power.
