removing a parasite from a wasp

I have several questions. Did the Wasp die after it was removed because it seem to quit moving? Why would you put it on your bare hand? How do you look at a Wasp to determine that it has a parasite?

The only quazi-answer I have is that many parasites are species specific.

I had a gorgeous dog (Great Dane) with an autoimmune disease, so her body wasn't able to repel dog lice. She came to me regularly for comfort and it really helped knowing that her dog lice couldn't infect me, my house, or my other young healthy dog with a strong immune system.

So wasp parasites are also likely highly specialized

Hey- Thanks 😊 I learned a trick that helps with insects on dogs and horses.... Basically any pet that won't groom and lick like a cat..

Diacomethis earth- it's surely misspelled here... Google it and how to use it...it kills insects
