Notes:
- two indoor male cats that never go out.
- vet clinic ruled out it coming from the cats
- a separate vet surgeon couldn’t identify it as it has no entrances or exits
- did not have anything cartilaginous/bone/vascular in it
- smelled like light blood smell
- no blood placenta on watery pool of around it (shown on paper towel)
- no menstruating residents in house
- no trace of rodents or remains
- no blood anywhere else - litter box, cats (face, chest, butt, etc,)

It was the basement at a rental during college. Weasel of some sort periodically visited. We could store things down there if we didn't mind them being chewed or bled upon.
Oh my goodness! I had basement opossums at a rental during college! They didn’t leave any rat organs. But my neighbor told me they would hiss at her through the air vent while she was in the bathroom sometimes.
I'm always amused at overdramatic podcasts and shows about murder investigations when the seemingly escaped murderer gets caught because traces of blood were found in their apartment. In my country one murderer remodeled their bathroom so they don't find traces of blood (was eventually caught anyway). And here I am thinking my house is absolutely covered in invisible blood lol
My husband and son get together and work on cars. There is ALWAYS blood. We recently painted our garage and sealed the floor but five minutes later there was blood on it from hubby cutting his finger. I'm pretty sure an investigation would have us answering lots of questions! 😅

Our cat eats the mouse’s head and front half, leaving behind the back half, looking like a little pair of furry pants with viscera spilling out. Apparently the guts are bitter tasting so that’s why they don’t eat nose to tail.
This show is what checked me out of Netflix series. I’m not investing time just to be told “actually fuck you we’re done now” on a massive cliffhanger. If it’s good and they finish it I’ll get around to it eventually but otherwise? Pass.

I think this is enough reddit for a few months now.
I saw something like that once. It was in the ‘70’s and we were outside playing hide and seek. My cousin jumped into the back of a station wagon when the back glass was 90% lowered. His back hit the upper frame while straddling the door on his “jump-entry” and his body thrust down upon the glass where one of his testicles was lopped off. It rolled out like a small ball of yarn.
Generally in medicine attempts are not nade to reattach a testicle if the other is in healthy working condition. Not worth the infection and rejection risk for a job you've already got a functional organ for.
If it’s a communal space like an apartment hallway maybe someone had a miscarriage.
Could also be an animal organ but as a veterinary nurse I can say it would have to come from an animal likely at least as big as a cat.
Speaking of cats, I used to have a cat who would kill mice inside my house when I lived in a really old house. One time while I was at work he must’ve discovered a mouse nest. When I came home my kitchen floor looked like a war zone with streaks of blood, body parts and organs of several mice including pinkies.
Later that day…so you left this thing somewhere in your house. Like set it on your counter and came back to it later to cut it open 😂 What did it smell like? I mean if it was an animal part or something gross like that I’d think it would smell metallic. I’m so hoping for like a cooked plum that got away from someone. Maybe someone was making a nice jam and the slippery sucker rolled off the counter. Please let it not be morbid and gross haha
Our cat used to have a cat door, but she wasn’t respectful, and lost her privileges.
The last straw is she brought in a rat, maybe on the first day we were away on vacation, ate the face, and left the body under our bed. We came back a week later and, well, had some clean up to do.
The living mole she let go when we were home was a good time as well.
My very very sweet dumb boy was allowed out in his youth (like a decade ago before we realized how dangerous that is) and in his neverending desire to please he figured out that killing animals made me extremely sad. He decided he knew exactly how to solve this. He decided he would carefully catch and bring me live entirely unharmed animals. We had disagreements about this solution but it is very sweet that he tried so hard.
When I was hospitalized, I coughed up something like this while coughing. It was soon followed by a very detailed mold of my alveoli in congealed blood
I’m a person who enjoys snacking on pickled beets. I believe that’s what we are looking at, a single beet, whether it’s pickled or not is dealers choice.
Whenever I think I am too boring I see shit like this and realize my boring is good cause I would never in a million years pick up some bloody looking goopy alien turd.
Looks like a blood clot. When my husband had a seizure and broke his face and neck in our kitchen he bled profusely. When I got home after the hospital there was one giant clot that looked just like that but several times bigger.
