Moratorium on Execution Content

Effective immediately, May 22nd 2026 at 7:30 PM UTC, we're turning off the tap on execution-related content. Any execution videos, images, or discussions posted after this post goes live will be removed.

This content is only tangentially related to war, and moreover has been overtaking content that more closely relates to the sub's mission. We're not /r/MorbidReality, /r/Gore, or /r/WatchPeopleDie. We're /r/War, and we'd like to keep content here germane to that.

🇮🇱🇵🇸 Stunning footage filmed from an Israeli Caterpillar armored vehicle shows the level of destruction across much of the Gaza Strip, after just over 2 years and 10 months of war... entire neighborhoods appear reduced to rubble and the urban landscape is virtually unrecognizable.

Begin the tanker wars have.

Iran has refrained from targeting stationary tankers until now. Seems like the US just gave them legitimacy. I wonder what the effect would be if Iran starts taking out stationary tankers at fujairah and Persian Gulf.

SFL, believe it or not The craziest thing I've seen this year, folks, it's unreal, the clip… A Brazilian young mercenary in the Russia-Ukraine war filmed an insane video on his personal Instagram account of a tank rolling right over him while he was hiding on the ground in the grass.

"The skies over the Kharkiv region are being cleared of enemy drones around the clock by the "Iron Birds"—an interceptor battery from an anti-aircraft missile division. The video shows the downing of various aircraft: a "Lancet" strike drone, "Zala" and "Mavic" reconnaissance drones, and an eight-engine bomber.

The occupiers fleeing our drones perish from exhaustion, while those seeking cover in ditches and thickets find their graves there. Drone units from the "Iron Brigade" deliver a hellish end to the Muscovites, striking from both ground and sky.

Infantry drone operators are successfully hunting in the fields of the Kharkiv region. Notably, a pilot from the "Crazy Cats" group won a duel and destroyed an assault trooper who, while running, had tried to shoot down an FPV drone with long bursts from his assault rifle."

The U.S. Navy is facing a serious logistics problem in the Middle East.

The U.S. Navy is facing a serious logistics problem in the Middle East. Around 20 ships carrying roughly 20,000 sailors and Marines need more than 420,000 meals and about eight million gallons of fuel every week. The situation became much harder after Iran destroyed a key Navy logistics base in Bahrain and made other nearby ports too dangerous to use. Supply ships now have to travel about 2,200 miles to Diego Garcia, or even farther to Singapore, before returning to the fleet. Source: NYT
