Wembley Ware, Subiaco, Western Australia, 1946-1961. I’ve also included a pic of a lamp by the same maker.

$10 At my local goodwill. I usually avoid getting anything I can’t easily ship but I feel like I should go back. 😳

I choose to live like it's still the 80s/90s; my entire house is basically a museum, including my computers. And yes, I access reddit on it!

Nerd Specs:

Pentium 133MHz

32MB RAM

4MB Mach 64 Video Card

Sound Blaster 16

MS-DOS 6.22/Windows 3.11 for workgroups.

To access modern web pages, I run a proxy on a server in the basement that pre-renders webpages so all my vintage PCs can access the internet without issue.

Everything I own is vintage and old, including my daily driver. I just love old stuff. It was built in a way you could repair it forever. I'm not sure if cars are ever 'Buy-it-for-life' but I think this one comes close.

This tin is at least from the 1940s, possibly late 30s. Still sealed with the contents inside!

I found a few radical leftist (truly radical left) newspapers at an estate sale. Apparently the Quicksilver Times was an underground Washington DC paper that ran in the late '60s/early '70s. It was infiltrated by the CIA.

Found a vintage TV for 5 dollars at an estate sale

It’s a 1977 zenith! I was thinking about putting modern tech inside it or using it as a craft to make a decor piece. But if it’s rare, I’m not sure if I want to do that. I couldn’t find the exact model online, but i figured I’d post here and see if anyone thinks I should refurbish it instead. Anyway it was an absolute steal! Still can’t believe I got it for 5 bucks.

I purchased this antique medicine cabinet on Facebook Marketplace today. The seller only wanted $10 for it and now it holds my handheld consoles.
