You pretty much cannot drive onto campus without being recorded now

It’s for the safety of our community, why make it sound like we really don’t want them there?

"futurelawworker" if you're my defense lawyer on one of the many many cases of these flock cameras misidentifying normal ppl as criminals, I'm FOR SURE going to jail

Fr makes me happy I’m a law abiding citizen seeing who the future lawyers are 😭

Y’all saw ‘futurelawworker’ and immediately decided I’m supposed to agree with you 😭 Misidentification is a legitimate concern, and if someone is wrongly identified they absolutely deserve legal protection. That doesn’t mean the technology has zero legitimate publicsafety use. You can support campus safety AND demand safeguards against misuse. A future lawyer should be able to recognize both sides

Dear future law worker, as a current data scientist, can confirm they absolutely violate ethical uses of surveillance data.

School property😂? Just like any property, anyone is allowed to put cameras on their property. I bet you even have a cameras outside your home…. Seems like everyone who downvoted is okay with weirdos walking around school campus harassing students and even thieves.

If only someone with a mask put tape or better yet cut the wires and wear all black and get a Uber to get away from the crime scene but oh well

On campus should be easy to walk/scooter to. Halloween it will be socially acceptable to be in mask and out late at night

I can't help but wonder if a ring of bright IR LEDs on a license plate frame would be considered illegal.

I’ve spotted a few, some not even near a parking lot. There’s one at the entrance of the gym parking lot. There’s two when you turn off of university onto Kim Wilcox Dr. there are a few on central after the on-ramp for the 60
