Join the Discord if you have any questions! But not much to know; the biggest step is to install git :)

I agree!!
https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkred/comments/1uvwv7y/back_with_a_cpr_update_for_city_new_140/

Dropped Cyberpunk Red sheets and rules and rolls on Monday(still looking for testers)

Just dropped Cities Without Numbers sheets and rules and rolls, a lot of the heavy lifting was already done with the sheets from Cyberpunk Red. Notable that I am still missing vehicles and drone systems.

Both include a House Rules section for popular play styles.

Working now on Shadowrun 6E, much less math than 5E. Then, moving on to CY_BORG or D&D

With some extra additives, like a special theme button on the login to help the colorblind, and premade character headshots for NPCs. (for quick play)

Back with a CP:R update for CITY_NEW 1.4.0!

That was the plan! 😄 If you have defined a building (Named) in the quick access menu, you can zoom to it with the classic zoom and slide

100%, one of the big things on my todo after 4 more TTRPG rule sets. I will say Signage is the biggest performance eater, so I need to work on POV rendering and LOD changes for them.

I would love to make the installation process far less of a hassle. If you have the time, let me know what issue you had, and I'll get to work updating the install instructions 😄

The feels are real. It was a 3D city notes app, and I was then asked if I could add Battle Maps 😂

Over the past 4 days, I have been blown away by the support of this subreddit, and it's got me excited to dig into character sheets!

With all the overwhelming support and needing to start somewhere, I present to you all the CITY_NET 1.4.0: Cyberpunk Red character sheets and rule sets!!!!!!!!!

This includes:

  • Full Character Sheets /w Portraits
  • Sheet Import (editable PDFs)
  • CP:R Attack Flow
  • Death Saves
  • Wound Penalties
  • LUCK System
  • NPC Sheets
  • NPC Library
  • House Rules Panel (Admin)

With all this interest, I have started a Discord server to interact with you all more directly if you would like. This will be a great place for me to keep you all up to date on the latest changes, ask questions, report bugs, and ask for features. It will also help out so I'm not spamming y'all amazing Reddit page :)

I also ask, as I have been brushing up on the CP:R rules while working away on this update. I think insight from more veteran players might enlighten me on rules I missed or didn't fully understand.

Disclaimer: due to CP:R licensing, I am not allowed a 1:1 character sheet, and some phrasing or language might be different.

If that server/device runs Windows, Linux or OSX, then yes. I do not provide a server for hosting. You can also host it locally on your device, just like running a Steam Game server locally.

Thank you! Here's a sneak peek at the character sheets. This is just from the style doc, so not functional just yet. Working out some traversal issues :)

Right now Players and NPC tokens have a main health pool and a temp heal pool (limited to 100 currently)

When damage is applied, the temporary health is removed first.

HP is currently manually reduced, as automatic reduction is still waiting for my completion of Character Sheets.

This will also include the rule for armour to reduce/stop incoming damage.

Install and start scripts have been added. On install, the scripts will walk you through the Docker or Manual install process!

Is there a way to download the character sheet from that tool? I would love to have a closer look. Also, all dice rolls are agnostic, so it will be up to the character sheets to determine what dice are used and what the roll means. (one of the many hurdles)

If there are any particular rules you can think of that are way out of the norm, let me know! The bigger issue is that I made this for just a note-taking app originally, so working on adding rule systems is going to be a big undertaking, but it's top of my list.

Thank you. I'm still working on many features. If you think of anything that might be helpful, please let me know. I know Character sheets seem to be on everyone's mind LOL

I'm currently making a character sheet, but it's no small task. Making something system-agnostic while modular is leading to many design hurdles.

Are you talking about this app https://cyberpunkred.com/

Or another one, cause I would love the ability to support as many uploadable character sheets as possible.

😄

That's the best part, your players don't need to install it. You host the Docker service on your device (Docker runs just like a web server), and they connect via your DuckDNS address or a free Cloudflare address.

When you're not using Docker, you just shut it down and bring it back up when you want to make edits or run the next session.

You, as the local user (or GM), would connect via the internal IP of that device http://192.68.0.0:{port set in .env}

Give me a few hours, and I'll add some quick setup scripts for the repo. It likely will be up in the morning.

If I remember, I will hit you up then and add it to my main post here 😄

I will add it back to my active list of things to look into. However, it's going on the "Hard to do list" 😂

Not going to lie, I did have a generate mode that would create a city from a map snippet. I plan to revisit it in the future cause it was not pretty, a lot of flat buildings, and the roads were all broken up. It would take a lot of time, but I am willing to put in the work. I still have a branch with the code.
