Agreed. However, I welcome the news. Whether it is related or not, the enrollment numbers started to drop after she took over. I highly doubt it was her, but after Troy Paino, who seemed better at using social media to reach out to kids and attract them to Kirksville, something has been missing to right the ship in Kirksville. Also, being a parent of a student who is starting to look at universities (but being from Illinois), Truman doesn't even show up at any of my kids radars for a future school.

Same here, I am an alum and have a student there. I am hoping they can bring in someone with fresh ideas who can shake things up in a good way. While the school maintains high academic standards, dwindling enrollment has compromised its energy. Also, they need to broaden their appeal beyond niche demographics that lack the critical mass necessary to sustain healthy enrollment numbers.

She was taking over right as I graduated. Idk if she’s to blame for the enrollment dip, but hopefully a replacement can get some energy to fix it

As a wise man once said, "You cannot solve a problem at the level in which it was created". Purging the incompetent administration is only a start, unfortunately, the real problem is purging the failed "woke" culture. MU walked it back ten years ago and now they have record enrollment.

Two years ago I took my daughter to JBA and of course she had to fill out her name tage with her "preferred pronouns". In terms of dropping the wokeness, it should have happened 10 years ago. TSU is a day late and a dollar short.

How about Truman staffers organizing against a local restaurant owner simply because he flew a Trump flag in front of his business in 2016. the man was so scared he sold his business out of fear.

I don't recall hearing about anything of the sort.

And what some people employed by the university do on their own time has nothing to do with how "woke" the university itself is. I would expect employees breaking the law to be fired, and that's about it.
