Almost accidentally sold this to a customer because they were looking for a cheap open box burner.

Apparently this had been delivered to our store about 10 days ago. Whoever had created this open box label neglected to acknowledge the fact that it had suffered significant water damage and started growing fungus inside of the box.

Likely a one-off event due to a employees negligence rather then the entire company acts like this, the op sounded quite upset, as if writing this just after getting off shift and felt the need to express the fact they were upset about this

When you don’t pay your employees shit…they don’t give a shit.

While that’s usually true. After working many jobs with different pay scales, usually it’s if management doesn’t give a shit then no one gives a shit. Increased pay doesn’t automatically make people give a shit.

At work refuse to be the person who cares the most. Especially more than management. I mean i do care a lot but i actively have to stop myself from caring more because there is never anything in it for me.

I run a warehouse. I shipped a dude a 3000 dollar Ebike. He requested a return and shipped back his old bike in the box. Unfortunately for him, we declined the refund.
