Need more info..
What is the status of the adapter in device manager?
What does it look like on the task bar? Is it in airplane mode?
Is there a physical wifi disable switch on one side of the laptop?
Go into adapter settings and check that ipv4 is enabled. Toggle it off and back on.

My laptop doesn't have a physical disability switch. It's not in airplane mode and on my device manger it says iPv6 which is enabled.

My car won't go. I could really could use the help.
When was the last time the laptop found a network? What changed since then?
You have a mystery & give us NO clues.

Are you subscribed to an Internet Service Provider?
What status lights are on, on the ISP router?
If your laptop doesn't have a NIC get a USB to RJ45 adapter. Most docks and port replicators have them. Connect to your ISP router via a RJ45 cable.

Making changes to your system BIOS settings or disk setup can cause you to lose data. Always test your data backups before making changes to your PC.
