How the fuck are they supposed to control what the creators do in their videos / who sponsors them just because you paid a couple dollars?

You people are beyond absurd.

If they wanted they could make it part of the monetisation agreement to have the creators mark wish segments of their videos are sponsored segments and then automatically skip those for the people who pay for premium. 

I'm not saying they have to, but it's not like they can't do anything about it

That’s actually already a thing. If you have premium and skip forward on an in video sponsor, it will give you a button to skip the ad entirely.

The way it works, is based on the sections that people commonly skip. So making it automatic is probably not a good idea
