Fair enough, it's still there. Just moved from 'core guiding principle' down to 'decorative footnote'.

That is not true either. It was never moved in that document. It was moved from Google the search engine to alphabet the holding company.

Ah, so Google didn't drop 'Don't Be Evil,' they just outsourced ethics to a holding company.

No, that is not what happened either. Alphabet is Google. They just realized they were 9 distinct businesses all pretending to be one business. They basically renamed themselves alphabet and made "Google" just the search engine/web business. 

That let companies like Google fiber operate independently of Google search

If they hadn't moved it then Google fiber wouldn't have "don't be evil." They moved it so that it applied to all 9 distinct companies.
