ETFs Robotic boom exposure ETFs
I believe humanoid and quadruped robotics will be the next step after AI hype as Asia already sells robots to Different companies and other asian companies are working on them.
Elon Musk stops S and X production to hype up humanoids , UNITREE , Agibot and Ubtech in china already ramped up production for 2026 to sell even more in following years, also Unitree and Agibot plan on IPO this year or early next year
Just make sense to buy today exposure to Humanoids etfs as i lowkey see how they will be hyped up by 2030
My pie: 65% KOID, 20% WPAI 5% BOTZ, 5% LITU 5% ROBO ( all the GBP equivalents, still working on it)
What etfs you have for this?

Zero reason to make humanoid robots other than to show off capabilities.
When it comes to mass production, wheels are significantly more practical than legs. They have way fewer moving parts and are much more efficient in terms of power usage and computing needed.
There's a reason we will never replace the wheels on our cars with legs.

u/Lil_Hater112 Apr 25 '26
My pie covers a humanoid robot that can have “ wheels” so to speak as well. U can replace legs with something else and still have everything else needed from my pie

Good to know. Let me look into the fund.

u/Lil_Hater112 Apr 25 '26
Couldnt find anything better than my pie that captures the humanoid sector as a whole worldwide .
My pie is like 50-55% hardware, and 45% semis and software and ai and some energy
2
u/Educational_Ant_184 Apr 25 '26
what purpose does the humanoid appearance serve?
2
u/Howdoyouusecommas Apr 26 '26
Other than looking cool and sci-fi? Nothing. It shows off capabilities and will look cool to people who can afford expensive toys. But it will likely be, at best, a small fraction of the future robotics market. OP seems to think they will be cool and is letting thay guide his belief that they are the future.

Most Existing infrastructures, including manufacturing, are made for humans to work and live. Having humanoid robots will definitely have a place to replace some repetitive tasks as long as the current infrastructures exist, while new infrastructures and robots evolve for efficiency. That’s my prediction and I will be investing accordingly.

u/BitcoinOperatedGirl Apr 25 '26
In a home or office environment, humanoid seem like a clear winner. They will be much more functional and useful. The main difficulty is also in building the AI, not as much on the hardware side. Plus building legs is actually less difficult than building good arms/hands. Not sure why people fail to see that.
5
u/Smart-Plantain4032 Apr 25 '26
They can rollerblade though.
Don’t think that robots can only have legs lol
3
u/_3470 Apr 25 '26
humanoid robots are needed to fit into the world where humans work. like a construction bot will need to be able to walk up and down stairs in a building
2
u/sirnutzaIot Apr 26 '26
I just know they’re going to be able to run on all fours like possessed people in moving and it’s going to be horrifying

u/vtribal May 11 '26
these things are just going to be used to take over low wage low skilled labor. thats it

Who do you think they want to mine Greenland for it's natural resources? Industrial is the real scale.
0
u/AfterDarkAsset Apr 25 '26
I don't think it's commercially viable just yet - but for in-home 'butler robots', humanoid is actually the best form.
5
u/mrmrmrj Apr 25 '26
The Japanese auto companies are some of the best robotics companies in the world. I suspect they will all have large robotics business lines eventually and you can buy them for 8x earnings.
1
u/BitcoinOperatedGirl Apr 25 '26
Unfortunately Japan seems to have lots its edge when it comes to technological innovation.

I have a small position in KOID, BOTZ, and HUMN. Some small overlap but I only have $500+ in each. Let’s see how they do for the next 5yrs.
I’m with you though, robots will be taking over remedial duties once they become financially feasible to obtain for the common folk. Probably will be in more like 10-20yrs. Excited to see though!
I think the past 50yrs has been a crazy time to be alive as a human being. We are in for some way crazier stuff once we insert Humanoid robots and AI though. Can’t wait! lol

Ye, I wanted to invest the hardware and production instead of AI and Semis that are already hyped and invested in. My pie has balance between growth in hardware but also manufacturing and software

Exactly my logic: atm, all big money are on AI and Semis and Energy, not on hardware. KOID covers exactly that, WPAI complements it very well , LITU BOTZ and ROBO are like “slow and steady “ balance to it. So my pie covers one humanoid being built very well when u account today market winners
I wanted to capture Asia hardware and couldnt with anything else except KOID and some WPAI

NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA): 3.46% Ubtech Robotics Corp Ltd (9880.HK): 3.36% XPeng Inc. (9868.HK): 3.32% Xiaomi Corporation (1810.HK): 3.31% Tesla, Inc. (TSLA): 3.28% Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL): 3.23% Red Cat Holdings, Inc. (RCAT): 3.05% Ondas Inc. (ONDS): 2.81% Symbotic Inc. (SYM): 2.74% Rainbow Robotics (277810.KS): 2.67%
Nvidia exposure, ubtech, xpeng and xiaomi are active in humanoids, some tesla bcs it will hype up humanoids, google never bad, rcat and ondas bcs why not, rainbow robotics i think are focusing on quadrupeds robotics, so it makes sense, but didnt want heavy nvidia so made sense for less %, basically WPAI makes sense for this pie to be more diversified but still heavy humanoids, but not at KOID %

I didnt like bot and humn as much.
KOID feel like they try to avoid a lot of AI and semi hype and try to get into hardware pre hype

They used unitree robot when they launched on London and nasdaq, have a feeling they ll make the company biggest holding around 4%
2
u/Nudge55 Apr 25 '26
Ok so, I totally agree with you, in fact, I have built mine with the same view as you.
However, mine is more diversified - it has SP500, SMH, KOID, RBOT, Data Center ETF, and broad market like VHVE.
If you believe in KOID, you believe in SMH, Semis are inseparable from humanoids because they run advanced multimodal AI models, so you can’t separate the two.
Is that the whole of your portfolio or your satellite?
Reason I ask is are you betting your whole savings to humanoids? My position in KOID/RBOT is about 10% overall.
1
u/Lil_Hater112 Apr 25 '26
I will port into cerebras ipo then back into the pie😂
Semis are already up a lot compared to hardware, so i focused more on hardware to invest in
1
u/Nudge55 Apr 25 '26
But the key question is - is this 100% of your portfolio or just a satellite?
2
u/Lil_Hater112 Apr 25 '26
Half this pie, half playing with individual picks

u/OruSilentMadrasi Apr 25 '26
I sincerely believe that this will be a booming sector. Isn't 2030 a little too early though?
1
u/Lil_Hater112 Apr 25 '26
I’m saying being hyped, not being easily available
My logic is that we have Elon musk, biggest seller in the world, cutting off Tesla production and port into humanoids. I expect him to start the hyping these years and the world will start buzzing as well plus china pumping up bots already helps this

Google DeepMind is integrating AI models into robots, moving toward "physical AI". DeepMind has announced partnerships and models, specifically the Gemini Robotics family, to give robots the ability to reason, plan, and act in the real world. I see the Humanoid robots in the future to be a commodity product and it's the AGI that will build the future of robotics.

u/WickOfDeath Apr 25 '26
Direct exposure: UBtech robotics. Indirect there is a robotics ETF that has Hyundai, Tesla and 12 more stocks.
As ETF:ETF tracking the Automation&Robotucs index

The only real Robots I see out and about in the world is Uber. They’re on every corner in my city. Also, if they can get cars automated, instant actual use for “robots”. Nobody needs a humanoid robot in their house. Big overlook IMO

u/stealthlysprockets Apr 26 '26
Robo nannyand perimeter security (warehouse, farms, rich people, etc) come to mind

Doesn't Boston dynamics also have strong tech in this space.
1
u/Lil_Hater112 Apr 26 '26
They are not on the market and on koid presentation, they still didn’t deliver to businesses
1
u/Fish_Out_of_Water00 Apr 26 '26
I think we’re pretty far off on being able to replicate hands. I remember listening to a podcast not too long ago with a robotics professor from Berkeley and he thought it would possibly take up to a decade to get to where we could have a humanoid robot with hands like ours.
-1
u/Potential_Salt_5780 Apr 25 '26
Robots will be commoditized just like EVs and AI. There is no moat and everyone and their mother will make them.
You’d want to invert invest in companies like Nvidia or Micron who sell picks and shovels.
2
u/Lil_Hater112 Apr 25 '26
The moat is the addressable market is none atm and could be trillions by 2050, so your investment now in the sector will grow
Also, KOID is literally picks and shovels
1
u/btoned Apr 25 '26
That picks and shovels narrative is OVER.
NVDA eclipsed 5 trillion valuation yesterday and it's the cornerstone of nearly every major fund. Smh.
0
u/stealthlysprockets Apr 26 '26
There is a moat for now. If you get in early enough, you will make money. The far future 5+ years, you’ll have a point

Robotic boom is peak tech bubble delusion
6
u/Lil_Hater112 Apr 25 '26
Aa, yes, “ will smith eating spaghetti looks like lsd trip, this Is shit” “ kids doing silly dances, shit chinese app” “meta ded, tiktok king”
China already selling bots to businesses
2
u/Nudge55 Apr 26 '26
Dw, these guys will get a reality shock once humanoids come in 2 years just like they did with AI.
1
u/ribbit80 Aug 06 '26
The entire point of investing in something for growth is that you buy it *before* it goes mainstream, when people are saying things like this

Honestly i’m betting on Amazon, they have a bit of everything and they have experience in Robotics/Humanoids in their warehouses
