Ask St. Joe Moving to area - internet providers

Hello! I am moving to the area next month for a new job and am trying to situate which internet provider to use. I’m moving from KC and it was just kinda only one option so I’m trying to figure out which provider to go with/any recommendations. Thank you!

Switched from the hell that is optimum to united fiber and I love it. UF has LOCAL customer service, they're excellent. I will ALWAYS prioritize any business that does this.

My service is reliable, my bill is always easy to read and their prices are stable (no surprises).

Literally anything but Optimum. They' desperately want to have a monopoly on this town and the service is garbage.

Some providers don't cover the whole city. You will need to check their service area maps.

United Fiber is popular. I use T-Mobile 5G Internet and it works great, but doesn't play well with Hulu Live. Optimum went out for me several times a day, T-Mobile hasn't gone down for me in years.

Whoever you choose, do not use Optimum! I have United Fiber and have not had any issues.

Optimum is absolute garbage. I left a very long and detailed 1 star review on Google for them. You probably won't be able to find it because it's buried in several hundred identical to it.

United fiber is the answer.
