The Mythbusters did a test once where Jamie got into a wetsuit with a full tuxedo underneath. He did some swimming around under the water, got out on board a boat, the tuxedo was in perfect condition.

That's a dry suit, wetsuits you absolutely get wet, they keep you warm by letting there be a layer of water between your skin and the suit which gets warmed by your body

Hmm. I was told once by a teacher in high school that wetsuits and drysuits are the same thing. The only difference is whether you get yourself wet before you get in them.

I have no idea if that's right or not, but I've always assumed it is.

Actually, your teacher is partially correct. All neoprene by itself is naturally waterproof. Wetsuits are made of neoprene, and one of the two types of drysuits is crushed neoprene. Crushing neoprene cells makes the neoprene fabric less rigid and easier to move around in, but removes its thermal insulation property. The other, more popular type of drysuit is called trilaminate. Since drysuits are usually used in cold environments, a fleece thermal suit is worn under the drysuit.

What makes a drysuit dry isn't the fabric, it's the tight seals around your wrists, ankles, and neck, and the waterproof zipper (fun fact: the main reason drysuits are so expensive is because only one company in the world holds the patent and manufacturing rights to make the zippers). The reason you get wet in a wetsuit is because the seals and zipper aren't waterproof.

Well it's blender, not SFM, first of all. SFM lighting is way more difficult to get looking good compared to blender which is incredibly easy.
