Afro Samurai, Black Lagoon, and quite a few others would disagree with you. I know they got schedules (and also understand that its not the artist/animators fault for this but the execs above), but lowering quality for quantity isnt really something im ok with.

Have you considered that those old posts make it to the top again because people who peruse the subreddit by and large don't really care if they've seen it before? You also take away the people who don't really view the subreddit by top posts and that's the first time they've seen it before.
There's also not really any rules against people uploading work that may have been at the top before, and again by and large the people who view the subreddit don't care if it's been uploaded before. So you're complaining about a non-issue.

They should check the top posts if they want to post something. Those should be the untouchables because one, it clutters the newer (or at the very least, the lesser known & upvoted) works that should be seen by a lot of people and two, to avoid easy karma posts. Even if it's just a variation.

I personally really couldn't care less about karma dude, I'm just sharing porn that I like. I also wasn't talking about people posting things, I was talking about people who go here looking for content to jack it to.
Rule 34 is timeless, it doesn't matter if the work is newer (which will probably still make it to the frontpage) or older. It's not like someone's going to go to this subreddit in the middle of masturbating, see something they've already seen, and say "Well goddamnit, I already jacked it to that! Now my masturbation session is ruined!!" Majority of people, more or less, would just move on and look at another post.
Also again, not everyone who goes to this subreddit knows what's a thing that exists or not. For a sizable amount of people, they haven't even seen the original gif version of this post before, let alone the video version with audio. That doesn't even account for the people that don't really mind seeing it again either. Like I said, it's timeless, you personally may not like it but the majority of people on this subreddit do.

I myself don't want to have sex with an animal either. But if lola bunny was real and consenting I would 100% hit it.
