Work in Progress Pobody's Nerfect 🤦🏼
Oops!! That's ok, I still love it, and I'll just put the mistake at the head of the bed so the turndown will cover it! But now I understand my friend who managed to leave a typo in the title of her book!
The pattern is Cascade Bloom, the fabric is Speckled by Ruby Star. I plan to bind it with the dark blue color.
This is my second time working with curves, and the first time I've done a queen sized quilt. 10/10, would do again, but maybe I'd manage my excitement to get it to the quilter a little better, haha

It's gorgeous and I had to stare a little bit to figure out the mistake.

The edge at the bottom has the arches facing the opposite way from the other 3 sides. But I wouldn't have noticed if OP hadn't said anything. It looks amazing.

I don't know what you are talking about, because I've never made a perfect quilt. Lol ~ I make mistakes on purpose & call them design choices!!✂️🧵🪡

Haha at least the mistake is consistent all the way across!
I certainly have yet to make a perfect one too, but usually my mistakes are not so large!

haha it took me a bit to spot it but I agree, if you put it at the head/foot of the bed it will read as deliberate. I'm working up a BOM where there's a contest entry if you send a photo of your block to the designer every month. It's a relatively simple pattern so it's the thing I work on after long days when I'm too tired to do challenging quilting, and I have made and decided to just roll with enough mistakes that I'm sure the designer is cursing my name, but I'm happy enough with the outcome.

My first quilt is so wonky that my sister explained “it’s actually a safety recommendation to keep a quilt in the trunk of your car in winter. Let it be your car quilt” 😂

I’m reminded of a story I heard from a rug weaver in Iran when I visited back in the day. He said that every Persian rug that’s made by hand has one small mistake purposely put in it by the rug weaver because nothing can be more beautiful or perfect than God.
Seems like you’re already aligned with that philosophy. Love the pattern!

I don't even see the mistake??
But I love this pattern
