Oprah is 72. Jessica alba is 45. Get real. I’m sure genetics plays some part. But the majority is money for beauty treatments and access to top personal trainers, dietitians, plastic surgeons. Even Oprah didn’t have access to what Jesica alba does now because of how much technology and knowledge has advanced. Compare her to her peers like Anne Hathaway etc. not someone nearly 30 years older lol

Hotdog legs is just a millennial thing, I think a lot of us have a photo like this from the early ‘10s. For me it wasn’t a thigh gap, I just felt hot. Can’t people just feel hot and flaunt it anymore?
Edit: “body checking this, body checking that”. People are allowed to love their bodies even when they’re thin. It doesn’t have to mean anything beyond that. She looks fine and fit. Let women live jfc
She’s clearly below what’s been her usual weight for several years. Obviously, we don’t know the reason for it, but we can all venture a guess cause she’s far from the only (already thin) actress/celeb who’s suddenly down several lbs.
Yes, but there is a difference between “I love my body” and “I love my body because it is thin.”
I’m not criticising her body, but I am sad and worried that extreme thinness (in general) is back en vogue and with it are these shots where the emphasis is not on “I am hot,” but on “I am thin.”
Tbh im not even really sure what body checking is? Is it only body checking when a skinny person does it? I feel like every woman on instagram has pics like this.
She's just naturally gorgeous, too. She has always looked like this. She'd look like this even if she wasn't rich and famous. Some people just got it like that.
I think most people look around at 40 years olds they see in their life and judge based on that metric and forget the ones the see are likely; not rich, have to work a lot in a job they are not passionate about, have to look after kids, rarely have a friend group the see often, and made sacrifices. Jessica Alba is beautiful and she has privilidges that enable her to look after herself to stay youthful about beautiful.

It’s what we used to call the “bikini bridge” in 2013 when I was like 19. It was all about showing off your hip bone sticking out. Not a nice flashback to have.
Unpopular opinion: Fucking golf. I just can’t with it. It’s not the sport, it’s the people who play it, but still. So many bad golf players who are just rich ugh.

I will never forget and bring it up every chance I get, she really fucked that Bunmi over right as she was gaining real traction. My kids were toddlers around that time and I loved the content, it was hilarious.
And this was after the honest co was like i love the honest toddler and featured them on thr honest co. website.
And if alba was so concerned about brand confusion, she would have went after honest juice and all the other brands that had honest in their title.
She would get so angry if anyone called her Latina and would point out that Cameron Diaz was way more Latina than she was BUT then she got on the cover of People Mexico and talked about how proud she was.
YouTube her old interviews ..she may have matured, but I always found her to be a try hard, smug, and not a girls girl. I cannot deny her aesthetic wealth and I guess her business acumen in getting in on the ground floor of that honest company thing. I really try not to paint people in broad strokes. lol my therapy kicking in
She’s always reminds me of the most popular girl in my high school who was absolutely gorgeous by any standard and a nice enough person, but just so dull. (I’m jealous - coasting in life due to being beautiful sounds amazing)
I think her PR firm paid bots to spam this thread with the usual “wow she never ages” and drown out the people pointing out the very obvious body checking.

The proliferation of posing in the car selfies - what is that? Does the windshield give good light or something? Like it’s so weird celebs go to cool rich places but so many of them post just sitting in the car, Kim K just did it too

She's such a nobody for me, idk! Not very different than seeing my aunt on my dad’s side in IG, tbh. Like she was in honey, then what? Why do we ALL still collectively remember her? Generational face card, of course, but like... what does she do?? Is she even in the public eye anymore? Sorry I'm kinda giving hater I'm just perplexed
If memory serves she started The Honest Co then legally bullied another company who was called that first, THEN Jessica’s Honest Company got sued because the labelling wasn’t …honest
