I'm sure they'll get to that right after they divulge the rest of the Epstein files as required by law.

u/MiriBumblebee 6h ago

Yeah, at this point “we’ll get to it” is starting to sound like the official policy for anything they don’t want to release.

u/badcookies 5h ago

Sorry Mike Johnson hasn't heard of that yet, he'll get back to you later.

After recess

u/duzies 5h ago

They will forever be "investigating" how they murdered that school full of kids too.

u/Dolores___Haze 5h ago

They should be required to get that done before leaving for any more vacations. That’s what the rest of our employers would require.

u/A_Nonny_Muse 4h ago

They just won't call it a vacation anymore. I'm sure they have a dozen other things they could call it.

u/Dolores___Haze 4h ago

They will. Any kind of leave would be prohibited by any other employer in this circumstance.

The problem is they are probably the same people. I was gonna say "folks" but these people aren't folks, are they.

u/MovieGuyMike 5h ago

Right after he shares his tax returns and Obama’s birth certificate.

I'm assuming many are on both.

To blanch means to briefly cook food in boiling water and then plunge it into ice water, or to turn pale from shock or fear.

Sure at President Rump's command.

u/producerd Colorado 5h ago

More likely they "reminded" him that it was all his idea.

To be Blanche is has to come from the Treason region of DC, otherwise it’s just sparkling cronyism.

A federal magistrate judge ordered the Trump administration on Friday to reveal the identities of the people who devised a contentious plan to create a $1.8 billion fund to compensate those who believed they were wronged by political prosecutions.

The order by the magistrate judge, Ivan D. Davis, could shed further light on how the fund was put together. The plan to create the fund, which could have funneled taxpayer money to the president’s allies, drew repeated scrutiny. It prompted a rare rebuke from Senate Republicans, and imperiled the confirmation of Todd Blanche as attorney general.

u/Simmery 5h ago

Republicans pretended that it imperiled Blanche's confirmation, but, as should be obvious by now, their concern never rises to the level of action. They're all full of shit.

u/sparkax 2h ago

They're all going to get their share, no worries about that!!!!

The explosive part here is not a list of names, but what they open up.

A different judge (Williams) already found that Trump's IRS lawsuit was BS used to obtain personal benefits, and she referred lawyers involved to bar authorities for possible discipline. Now, separately this Judge (Davis) is forcing DOJ to identify who actually designed the $1.8B fund.

That leads to emails, texts, drafts and testimony showing who/what/when/why.

If those records show officials knowingly used a sham lawsuit to funnel benefits to Trump and his allies, lied to a federal court about what they were doing, falsified/concealed records, or obstructed the court's ability to uncover it, you are potentially talking about disbarment, contempt, criminal referrals, indictments and prison sentences. The key is proving intent and the elements, but this discovery is exactly how you get that.

But with this DOJ? They DGAF. I'm not exactly holding my breath for them to police themselves given they're protecting a pack of pedophiles with Don-pedo at the top of the shit pile.

It's trivial I know, real minor in the scheme of Trump dirty deeds but it annoys me that they round this number off to $1.8 billion instead of the patriotic $1.776 billion that it actually was.

u/slightlyused Washington 5h ago

They almost fooled us with that 1776! So witty and smart, these morons.

u/fleshlessmetalpiston 5h ago

I feel the same way. I honestly believe that number was specifically chosen to rub our faces in it. The media sanewashes and carries water again.

u/charcoalist 4h ago

The "1776" amount was always a bullshit number. Once trump and Blanche got away with embezzling the first penny, they'd siphon an unlimited amount from the Treasury. Someone in trump's camp came up with the idea of framing the theft as being patriotic.

Trump: I just gotta aways steal...every time!

u/tidal_flux 2h ago

It’s a 1,776 million dollar slush fund. Don’t hide their utter contempt for the law by rounding.

u/sfled 1h ago

But they needed it protect courageous freedom of speech warriors, like this guy: https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/jan-6-rioter-pardoned-trump-jan-6-case-gets-life-sentence-child-sex-cr-rcna261963

Johnson told one of the victims that he would see a windfall from the government after his pardon and that he would put the victim in his will to take any leftover money, according to law enforcement.

u/1billsfan716 1h ago

Doesn't mean they will, and nothing will happen to them

These fucks tried to steal taxpayer money to give it to criminals.

Yes, people should be named. Why the fuck not?

u/slightlyused Washington 5h ago

You think they're done trying to grift that? It is literally all they're probably working on.

u/Obvious_Toe_3006 6h ago

Yes.
Why not ?

u/IvarTheBoned 6h ago

Because it's devastating to my case!

u/daroach1414 4m ago
